Be Carefull when Marketing with RSS feeds

I wanted to share this with my blogging friends here at the warrior forum seeing it's pretty important to know.

Be careful when submitting your content to other website that allow you to submit an rss syndication feed.

You may not know but potentially you're giving away your free organic Search Engine Traffic.

Blog catalog is known for this. They will rank higher for your targeted keywords from your rss feeds placed on their website.

What you need to look for?

You have to find social communities that are DO FOLLOW.

Blog Engage is a good example seeing all our links are do follow and this means we pass the page rank juice back to your blog and your articles.

Unlike blog catalog who keeps your juice and doesn't share. This is why they rank higher than you.

Perhaps I will blog about this today!

    They only link higher than you if you have NO clue what your doing Beyond that it's just more links going to your site.

    If your site is getting beat out by your own web 2.0 links there is a problem - and you need to look at why. If you running wordpress have you:

    Set up and installed one of the seo plugins?

    Gotten links to your site from other places -- by links to your site I don't just mean your home page - I mean deep links.

    If you don't know how to get those deep links - go take a look at Black hat digest's 30 day guide. Day 7 gives you a great way to set up your own little deep linking machine.

    They will out rank you!

    You cannot rank higher than them for everything
