Hi Guys,

Any of you know how I can download videos of any website? I know Chrome has some extensions that can help with that. Do you guys know of any product or extension that is relatively easy to use?

It'll be great if you can share.

Thanks.

File 2 HD usually does the trick.

It depends what you want the videos for though.

I do not use any Extension. Most of the time I use the Savefrom.net to download video. Sometimes I use the IDM= Internet Download Manager. IDM has a trial version for 30 days only, so I use the Savefrom.net, the is no activation code for it. Thanks for your advance.

Quickest way possible I know is by adding 'ss' in the beginning of the URL.
    Example:
    video - www[dot]youtube.com/watch?v=U1CKJkPoe_s

    added - www[dot]ssyoutube.com/watch?v=U1CKJkPoe_s

Absolutely Correct, Most of the time I use this formula. It use the savefrom.net I think it is the most easy & convenient way to download nay video from many sites.

of course it is a good idea. But the formula does not work with all website. If you use the formula, it will redirect to the savefrom.net. If the shortcut way do not work properly, you can use the another way. In this way, you need to cut the video url, then you need to open the Savefrom.net then paste the link in the box. It will work good than the "SS" short cut way. Thanks a lot.

Thanks all you guys! Really appreciate your feedback.

There are times I want to watch certain informational or educational videos but can't do it without wifi connection. By downloading the videos, I can watch them on my iPad when I'm on the move.

    Thanks again!

For Chrome, FVD media plugin has worked well for me for a long time.

If it's youtube video's, I just google youtube to mp4 (or mp3) conversion. Always sites. Tried plugins, but they always stop working.

Maybe can try Video Grabber. It’s a free tool that allows you to download online streams. You can go to its site then paste the video URL in address bar. The video will be soon downloaded with a few minutes. Hope it helps.

Some courses have used youtube (other streaming service) for video host. And the buyers need to keep it in their HD for later watching. While they think it's hard to ask the course creator how to do it, hence they come here asking for solution.

Maybe he just bought a video course here.

The best one I've tried for ripping You Tube videos is called YTD Video Downloader. It's very simple and straightforward offering a lot of functionality at the 'free' level, and even more options with the paid version.

I believe I got my copy at Download.com
