Best self-hosted autoresponder and email marketing service

Hello Forum Members.
I'm looking to transfer my list, which is getting bigger and bigger, from GetResponse to a hosted solution.
I saw this app MailWizz - Email Marketing Application - PHP Scripts | CodeCanyon , which has very good ratings, and from what I can tell it can worth with mandrill. I haven't tried mandrill either, but my research proves it to be quite popular.
► Has anyone used mailwizz? Would you recommended it?
► Is there a better email marketing solution other than this?
I need something as cheap as possible, without quality and features being compromised, with no list size limitations. Autoresponders is a must!!!
► I want to have someone install and setup everything on my domain, so please if you really know how to do that and are willing to do quality work with any revision required, please do send me your quote. Also, state what your support rate would be, e.g. 1 ticket or 1 hour per month.
Thanks a lot!

  • I have used Mailwizz with both mandrill and Amazon Simple Email Service, I found Amazon was cheaper

    • Check out Sendy as another option. A lot of people like Arpreach on here as well.
  • You should check out my ad on this forum for web hosting and an autoresponder service all in one for only $11.50 a month.

    Here is the thread:

  • Consider Rocket Responder. There are no tricky pricing rules, it's the FIRST email marketing provider that I actually found fun to use, and it is very user friendly.

No technical expertise required what so ever.

The features are decent, I guess. One thing for sure is that sending broadcasts are easier than most providers. Meaning that you can construct your broadcast, then simply "tag" other lists that you want that message to go to.

I don't know about you but I truly appreciate that feature.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • So let me get this right..

You're list is growing dramatically, so you want to pull it off of the autoresponder service that is working, and self-host, taking over all the headaches of making sure your email still gets delivered and you don't fall into the spam dungeon? You will take care of spam complaints, cleaning your lists, backups, maintenance, etc..

I'm assuming that means you are not earning a good return from your lists.

Instead of trying to reduce your costs at GetResponse, you may want to consider improving the response and profitability of your lists so the monthly fees from GetResponse seem insignificant.

How come you only want to go this route? Sticking with aweber would make things way more faster and convenient for you!
