Membership Site with Help Desk + Knowlege base

INTERNET MARKETING

Trying to figure out the best way software wise to set all this up.

Have a digital product that I am selling.

I can either put it in PDF format or grant access to the program via a wordpress membership plugin

I then want PAID users to be able to view a searchable FAQ knowledge base about the program as well as be able to contact a specific support email for a response.

Now I am thinking wordpress + membership plugin + helpdesk

or

Shopify + helpdesk

Seems there are positives and negatives to each but in either case - how do you make sure only PAID customers contact you for support?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated - TIA

aMember Pro does it all. You can use it as a plugin with Wordpress, or you can use it standalone.

Either way it works well, looks good and gives you tons of functionality (including helpdesk and faq)

to setup a simple member site all you need is paid memberships Pro (Free) OR S2 Member (Free) on a WordPress site, your Helpdesk system can be set up with OSticket (Free) on your hosting account in a subfolder of your domain. The members once signed up are in the members area and only members get to see your FAQ. There is not a lot to add, this approach works, but of course you need to sell the whole deal and promote it -Clickbank is a good choice.

  Digital Access Pass is another good option and if I remember correctly they have a help desk module you can plug in as well... I haven't used it but here it is...

anyone know any helpdesk that integrates with a membership CRM where only currently paid users can access a knowledge base and open support tickets?

trying to avoid people who's membership has expired to still be able to email us support questions.

Another alternative is Sonic Reply. Sonic Reply is a WordPress help desk plugin that we personally use in our business. It will work with or without a membership site.
