I am trying my first attempt at Teespring. Started the campaign today with a Facebook ad. I still need to learn to fine tune but just need some quick advice. So far I am at what I believe to be a disappointing 0.8% click through on the ad but 6% on the take rate of those that clicked. Now this is only one sale and the ad has been running for about eight hours.

My question is should I increase the budget or let it ride a little longer? Five post likes and one comment but no shares. Just hoping to get a little viral activity to reduce my ad cost. Is there a trick to get the ad shared?

The other day I saw a video of a marketer creating a picture of a girl wearing T shirt. He said it increases CTR and I believe so. Check it out before increasing budget.

Thank you. I am at 3 now with only a 10 minimum. Just a hair over break even with ad costs. So as long as I get to ten I am calling it a victory and will work on better designs and marketing strategies. I have a fitness company that pay the bills but this is the first time I have been anything close to successful in the IM arena. Up until now it has been $50 - $100 experiments that have resulted in $0 income.

  • Nice, you're already seeing sales Just gotta stick to it and I watched this long video from an experienced teespring marketer who said as soon as you find a winning shirt stick with it and try to market it as much as possible.

I'll probably try another teespring campaign soon, my first one didnt go so well. :/

    Cheers,

From what you are saying, it seems your campaign is in premature stage, means you should let it run for at least 48 hours for FB to dial it in..

You are on the right track! Just continue to optimize your ads. Turn off the ads that are not performing well, and scale up the ones that are getting high CTRs and conversions. Good luck!

Your CTR is dismal man, you can easily achieve 1.5%+ with proper targeting and niche research..

If you are serious about Teespring there's an e-book guide or two in WSO.

I can't link you, I'm on my phone but they come up in a search. I have been interested in Teespring as well.

Try increasing your budget, and also try to change your bid type, that's a huge factor sometimes..

0.8% click through on the ad => maybe your design is not impressive. . Turn off the ads that are not performing well, and scale up the ones that are getting high CTRs and conversions. Good luck!
