What are some of your angles on adult traffic?

Hi, I have a decent adult traffic and has major success in niches like dating and adult related content. Just wondering, anyone else has any input specific to what type of offers or niches will APPEAL to such audience? I want to have as many input and ideas as possible to try a different angle. As such, I thank you very much for your input.

I'm not exactly sure about what your question is. Are you looking for traffic? Adult sells adult. It could be mixed with gambling, performance enhancement medications, etc.

If you are looking for more traffic let me know, I have an adult ad network with really good prices and clean traffic (no bots). Company is called TraffiTraffickers.

Why would somebody give up their successful angles for adult traffic? Just pick some freaky thing you like and throw up a landing page and see if it works. If it doesn't, try something a little more deviant.

I have no experience in adult niches but if I had the same question as you I would try and do a keyword analysis on sites similar to yours, what pages on your website have the highest roi & ctr, check out the latest adult trends and go from there.
Dating... maybe offer some tips, guides, or free ebooks in exchange for their email that way you can build a mailing list. Be sure to get your sites demographics and preferences so you're not offering advice about using Tinder to Gays/Lesbians that would get much more use from Grindr or Growlr

I have been working in Adult for a long time as well as other income streams online. The best things these days you can do with your traffic is aim it at Web cam sites. You get a % of what you bring in and the money can be very lucrative. LiveJasmin.com is the biggest cam site and can make a lot of money for you. They can have as many as 1,000 girls online at any given time.

It's like anything, the more you focus, the better your conversions and sales. "Adult" is too general. Though like Vendzilla said, cams could be the closest for general purposes.

There are SO many niches in adult, 100's. The better you focus, the better success you'll have. Worked for me.

I did adult for almost 10 years. Was enough for me.

Don't know what I have to add. It's been years since I've been in the business. And my opinion is not exactly positive. Looks like other posters in this thread might have more current insight.

When I started back in 98, it was easy money. Literally. Wasn't uncommon to have sales ratio's of 1:50 or lower for $25+ trial payouts. Built many ugly small picture sites behind multiple AVS systems and every one I built made money. Back when banners actually got clicked.

I also did link lists, focusing on very narrow niches, very narrow and it worked well. Never did much TGP, and tube sites did not really exist back then.

But over the years conversions decreased greatly and I was working harder for less money. Lucky to get 1:500. Not to mention so many affiliate programs scamming. And the competition grew greatly.

Just wasn't worth it for me any more. After moving in to more mainstream, I was making alot more with less traffic. And I wasn't embarrassed about what I was doing.

Problem with adult was and is even more so these days, is that there is too much free content. Tube sites being the biggest problem. Why should surfers pay when they can get it for free?

I pushed mostly adult membership sites, so dating might still be good these days, I don't know.

There are people who say there is still good money to be made, but I have to call BS. For the most part, for the average person trying to profit from the market it's going to be difficult.

Couple months ago I stopped by an adult webmaster forum I use to frequent, was very popular (not GFY), and it was a ghost town. Very few new posts. From 100's of webmasters posting each day, to nothing at all. Good indication of the biz if you ask me.

But again, I've been out of it for a long time, so maybe my opinion doesn't count.

Oh no please, Ron, you've provided valuable insights. I've learnt a lot from your input. I'm doing the current dating/fling offers, they still convert prettily which is plenty as of now. As for the paid content, I have to agree that the conversions have declined and not what it used to be.

Anyway, thank you all for your precious time and opinion.

Matthew, I noted you are from Singapore.

I thought the country frowned heavily on people who promoted/sold adult content. Am I incorrect?

        From reading this:

Under Section 29 of the Films Act, the production, reproduction, importation, distribution and possession of "obscene films" is illegal in Singapore (with penalties involving fines and/or jail terms).

Here, "film" includes those in digital formats and "obscene", what "taken as a whole, such as to tend to deprave or corrupt" those who view it.

Similarly, doing the same with "obscene publications" is criminalised by Section 11 of the Undesirable Publications Act and Section 292 of the Penal Code (where "publications" include books, magazines, periodicals, sound recordings, pictures, drawings, photographs etc) and the sanctions are similar (sidenote: curiously, Section 202 of the Penal Code has a religious exemption, presumably fFor Indian lingams and yonis).

In practice, if you're discreetly consuming it in private no one will likely touch you, especially if it's in digital format.

In fact, the top frequently asked question on the website of the Media Development Authority (which regulates such things; MDA - FAQs)

Do a Google search on the best keyword phrases for your web site. Note the top competitors for those keywords. Also note what affiliate products or JVs they are doing with others. Then enter the urls of those top sites into Similar Web and you will see where their best traffic comes from.

The idea is to watch what your top competitors are doing, see the products they're promoting, see where their main traffic is coming from and see if that makes sense for you to do the same.

I guess porn affiliate offers (ex: stockings, milf, classic, etc). Try each niche in the porn game, and see which one converts the best.
