Hello Fellow Warriors,

I,ve been trying to promote my website since I started affiliate program about six weeks ago, but I,ve not seen any positive result e.g making sales. What are the effective and best marketing tools to promote my website.:confused:

    What promotion techniques have you tried? Are you getting traffic, just not sales?

    First off, did you do thorough keyword research and optimize your site accordingly? Tried PPC? Did A/B testing of your landing pages?

    Sorry for all the questions, just curious what you have tried.

    What do you mean you started an affiliate program?

    Do you have your own product that has an affiliate program or do you mean you're promoting a affiliate product for a commission??

    Thanks for your response.I'm promoting affiliate product for a commission and these are the promoting techniques i have tried social networking, blog and free traffic generating.

      If you haven't made any headway, you are doing something wrong.

      - It could be the products you're promoting...

      - It could be your initial advertising to get people to review your offers...

      - It could be that you're not getting enough traffic to your offers...

      Are you trying to do this on your own or do you have a step by step course on the affiliate model?

      This forum can supply you with just about everything you need free for success with the affiliate model.

      How to presell:

      How to generate traffic:

      How to determine if your test project worked or not:

      If you don't have a step by step course, you can do a search on each aspect of the process.

    My answer are questions back to you. Just answer it and you'll find why.

    Have you tried creating product reviews?
    Have you tried creating several blogs to free blogs websites like blogger.com and wordpress.com?
    Have you tried submitting several press releases?
    Have you tried creating good videos and submit it to video sites like you tube and metacafe?

    The list goes on .............

    Put yourself in the foot of your visitor, what's in it for them why they will buy from you? Have you created some freebies or good content to them? Do you think they will trust you when they see your site. Is it look professional?

      I always start with keyword research...

      Then set up a blog around those keywords...post regularly using those keywords...write and submit articles using those keywords...create and submit videos using those keywords...and backlink, backlink, backlink using those keywords as anchor text.

      Also, make sure to bookmark your blog posts, articles submissions, video submissions etc.

      And then backlink some more...

      Oh yeah...obviously, your blog will have promotions/advertisements for the product(s) you are promoting...

    Hey Toppy,
    I have found Articles, forums excellent for website promotion.
    With articles write a subject line as a question or solution with the answer to your product or service in the first line they read.
    Tweet it With an Offer of information on your blog.
    Chat with other Tweeters about what you offer.

    Is anyone else in your Niche? Email them maybe you can partner or advertise on that website?
