What's a good ratio of daily blog visitors to opt-ins?

What's considered "good"?

Say you get 100 visitors per day. How many should opt in to your newsletter?

5%? 10%? 30%?

[EDIT]: network marketing/home business niche

    I don't think there's a "standard".

    So many factors involved.

It would help to know what niche we're talking about?!?!

    25-30% is pretty standard..

up to 40% is really good and beyond that, everything is exceptional!

Pretty sure the OP was talking about cold traffic. Pretty sure you're not.

I think the best way to track this is to compare performance against itself. If you start out with no opt-ins and then increase to 1%, that's good & you should focus on building from there. If you're at 2% now, try to get to 3-5%. If you find that the percentage levels out, change your approach.

Forget about what "they" say is good, get your own metrics and test and tweak to keep on improving.

Another question that can't be answered, but everyone will give you a number that they believe to be a fact, back-up by virtually nothing.

      And so it goes.
