So How do WSOs work? Should I be higher on the list?

Hello! I just visited the WSO forum. I guess my WSO just got approved this morning, but it was already mid way down on the list when I saw it about 6 hours ago. Now, its not even on the first page anymore.

I guess I'm just confused, but I thought when a post gets an reply its bumped up close to the front of the list?

Could some kind soul enlighten me?

Thanks!

Your WSO does not move up the list when there is a reply. They are ordered by posting date. They do move very quickly; your $20 keeps you on first page for less than a day much of the time, so you better make enough off those few hours of exposure to afford the $20 to bump it back later

The great thing about it though is that for $20, you'll receive a lot of exposure here, where marketers are roaming all the time. Otherwise, you could burn through $20 or more on PPC in 10-15 minutes

There's a $20 dollar bump!? I saw the link, but I didn't realize that it was paid. Well, I should have figured.

Wow, my first few hours were spent giving away free reviews.

    Wow...

You are right on that PPC thing, though. Thanks for the replies.

OOh I had another question and instead of opening another thread, I just used this one. Is it legal to shop for reviews BEFORE even posting the WSO. I thought I read one thread that tried and people complained, but I think that something else was going on before hand.

I was thinking that you would want to do in IN the WSO thread so that your buyers could see that it wasn't preplanned on anything.

That's it. I just want to make sure that my next WSO can go a little better and I can make my money back - at least.

    Thanks again!

Hey... I've seen plenty of people ask for reviews before putting on WSO and its never been a problem. I think its the norm actually.. there is a reviews section in the forum.

Also people usually jump at freebies and unfortunately many wont give a review. So you may want to give away 10-15 to get 5 or so back. But thats all good in my opinion.

I gave away 3 because I was being super cheap. I promised some of my sales to Michael's fund so I had to skimp. I was lucky to get all three to return with some very thorough reviews. I may try the classifieds section next time. I'm going to watch it to see if its a little slower.
