I think you're better off with Facebook solo ads groups instead. Skype groups are limited to 300 I think and from what I hear, they isn't as much activity.

Are these mostly made up of people SELLING solo ads or is there a healthy mix of buyers AND sellers?

Also, are these primarily for IM solo ads? ANy other niches?

Facebook is your best bet, imo. There are a couple of great groups on there.

    What about clickonomy.com

Actually I like clickonomy because they have a feedback history...like Ebay.....

I don't trust many people to buy traffic from, but clickonomy is def. recommended...

Yes, Facebook is the place to go now. Skype use to be the go to place but now most people have converted over to FB. Just do a search for FB solo ad groups, there's quite a few running. You can find both buyers and sellers there. All the best.

The solo skype channels are dying off.

Due to the amount of junk solo sellers there's really no way I'd buy a solo from the
    skype groups any longer.

Facebook is better but still use extreme caution!

The solo ad "biz" is really gone bad.

You're actually better off to spend $20 on a WSO and offer a low ticket product of your
own and build a buyers list.

I agree with the above regarding Facebook. Look for "Solo Ad TESTIMONIAL" groups. That way you can see what other people thought about the solo ad, and actual specifics about the sales. The groups are very tightly knit as well, and scammers don't survive there long, if at all. It's my top choice for finding solo ad vendors.

Udemi? I've just started using it, and it leaves a lot to be desired. Reviews are vague and you really don't know what you're getting. One the good side, you can request refunds if you don't get what your promised. They have certain advantages as well, though. They have list size verfication, so you know they guy you're buying from has SOME validity to what he's selling. Problem with that is, not everyone is obligated to use it.

If you're selling, I'd suggest doing Facebook, getting some good reviews under your belt in those groups before anything else. Just my opinion, but most people that use Udimi are also using Safe-Swaps to build up their lists, which I think limits getting really fresh leads.

Another vote for FB Solo Ad Testimonial Group(s). Udimi has been hit and miss for me re: quality if traffic.

Yes Facebook testimonial groups are the place to go.
Look at the optins and sales.

One word of caution. Until you have a converting sales funnel it doesn't matter how much traffic you generate you'll be throwing your money down the toilet.
