How Much Content Should I Get On a Membership Site?

I am considering joining a PLR membership site which promises 10-20 unique articles a month for $19.95.

It also has some other features, but basically my question is:

Does this sound like a good deal if it really IS unique content or does that sound like too much to pay?

    That doesn't sound like a good deal to me.

    You can pay that price and just buy PLR articles on topics you want without joining a membership. In most cases, when you join a PLR membership you won't get to choose the topics.

    I think if the articles are PREMIUM, then that's a fair price.

    Often article packs are crummy, but if you can find insanely high quality PLR that's regularly distributed to you through a membership site, then to me $19.95 is even a low price.

    Too much money for me ... I don't want to fill up my hard drive with articles in niches that I don't want to promote. I'd rather pick and choose my niches and have them rewritten at need-an-article.net if they are poor quality

    I prefer unique articles that are well written... I do pay a premium for them, but I get much better ROI than I can with PLR membership sites... but on a budget, 10-20 articles for $20 might be a good way to start, but reinvest into better quality articles as you go along.
