Anybody building mobile sites exclusively?

Is anyone building mobile sites as a sole business or only in conjunction with their regular webdesign business, as an added service so to speak.

(Not sure if I'm even posting in the correct forum..)

    All it takes to make a site "mobile ready" (when using Wordpress) is a plugin.

    Yes, as Miguelito203 said, WordPress users can opt for a plugin, which is a good temporary solution.

    Now every web design should be mobile friendly. I think now all web designing and development service provider also concentrate on the mobile friendly website.

    I think everything is going mobile friendly in that it can be display on a mobile device. However, I don't know if they have it to where if you know it is a mobile device you can then dynamically add native functions like Tap to call, Tap to X, etc... which I think is important for local businesses. In which case then building a specific mobile site would be advantageous.

    We do both mobile and traditional website building at our company. We are definitely finding a switch to more mobile-friendly websites as the whole world embraces the technology that is making this mobile world a reality.

    I believe selling mobile sites as your only business is very limiting. It reduces your number of potential clients.

    Take some time to browse the Offline section of the Warrior Forum. You'll find a ton of great information discussing your question, and how to generate business.
