Nothing big but you can now search the forum with Google a little easier. The code was added to the search drop down in the top navbar.
#google #navbar #search #top

That should open up a new income stream for you, with the google ads and all. Good work.

They don't pay me. That's just a basic search box. Not a bad idea though, no clue how to set that up. Not sure what the limits of the vb plugin are.

You've got to be kidding me, your not getting paid for that! My brother setup an entire business around that model. It was a charity search engine ( you search, you help) using a custom google search. Everytime somone clicked on one of those ads in the top of the search he got paid.

What's probably happening is the guys who created that vb plugin, are "generously" giving away the plugin to vb forum owners, and they are raking in the dough.

Somebody chime in here if you can help out with coding it so that Big Al gets paid when the ads are clicked on (cause we know those ads will be clicked on, its a numbers game).

Oh you should certainly try and figure out how to set up the Google ads. Nice that you added the search for the navbar, its pretty nice!

Thanks, Tried it already...It's nice to see something familiar..

The good thing about the google search is it shows a portion of the actual post..

Which was missing from the current search..

    Again, thanks..It's small but useful
