Ways to monetise a dedicated server

Hi there,

I am about to purchase a very chunky dedicated server based in Europe for my own needs. It's extremely powerful and has a 100GBps connection with unlimited bandwidth so there's plenty of potential here to do something.

Now, I was just wondering if anyone has any interesting ideas on ways I could generate revenue from it? Obviously there are things like web hosting etc which are pretty complex but what are some other 'out of the box' ideas and methods I could use to bring in some revenue?

Hosting game servers and charging a monthly fee? Bulk email sending?

Give me some ideas my fellow Warriors...

Thanks,

Adam

Hey care to let us know what hosting company it's? I'm also currently looking for a europe based company.

Client/Customer Acquisition: offer free hosting with ads, cheap website design + hosting fee, maintenance fees, etc...

They key to monetizing hosting is to compete based on:
    1. Price
    2. Expectations
    3. Number of Buyers.

Basically, offer something completely unique & undercut the market to drive rabid buyers to your offer. What if every person could get a flip mino if they sign up with you for a year. Then you can charge middle range to high range.
Or you can charge a really low price, and have a quartely style payment -vs. the typical monthly & yearly payments.
The question is, what do you have that everyone else has?
