My experience with 7Search

I have a squeeze page which promotes click bank women weight loss

I tried 7Search and 1st day I got 37 clicks no conversion
I asked them , they told me you should apply Goole Analytics

Actually this was a good advice from them , anyway i paused the campaign
I searched on Google Analytics, I applied it , tested it
it was working

I asked for a revise for any fraud clicks, they refunded me 1.28 cents out of 7 $
anyway, I resumed the campaign

I got another 134 , no conversion

I chatted with their support, this was what he told me and I need your help in this

7Search support : I have reviewed your website the site itself is not engaging which may be the reason why you are viewing information in Google that states that a visitor was there for less than six seconds. A lot of people are not willing to provide personal information including their email address if the website that is asking for this information is not engaging.

Me : ok now you are telling me that my page is not engaging
ok I will ask for a refund and if I correct it , I may try again with new experience

7Search support : I am saying that the page does not provide a lot of information while asking for an email address majority of consumers are not willing to provide their email address to a site with this appearance.

Me : so from your discussion , it seems that you don't want to issue a refund , correct ??

The reason he told me this , when I asked him how Google Analytics shows 0 seconds for all the clicks except for 2 views around 6 seconds

I need your help to check my squeeze page in my signature to see if it is engaging as he said before

By the way , I am less than a beginner

7search is tough. I used it for a weight loss product I was promoting in 2011. Like you, I got plenty of clicks, but very few opt-ins. I had a nice video lander squeeze page, but nothing good happened.

I think you should use theme to get some more traffic and if you are a very hight converted campaign.
In any case I think it should be used as an integrationg.
The n. 1 way to get targetted traffic is to build a good PPC campaign!

Maybe try reviews instead of a squeeze page? I implement these on my sites and have found them to be quite useful

It is a bit of a confusing web page and does not have a clear, direct message with a strong call to action.

The squeeze page offers the following just in the headline:
    - #1 Flat belly tip for women
    - Secret of losing at least 10 pounds
    - Weight loss secret for the perfect body

    Who are you targeting?
People who want to lose belly fat?
People who want to lose 10 pounds
People who want the perfect body?
Or people who want to get "slim and sexy"? (from the opt-in headline)

The call to action is "Let's do this now". Again not clear or strong.
Do what? Lose belly fat, lose 10 pounds, get the perfect body, opt-in? You have not defined what IT is that you want US to do.

I would fix the headline so it targets a single problem and solution and not a bunch of different problems.

I would fix the opt-in form so it is more compatible with your headline and target. Right now it says "get slim and sexy" but neither slim nor sexy were promised by your headline.

It should be "Yes, I want to lose my belly fat" or "Yes I want to easily lose 10 pounds" or "Yes, I want the perfect body".

It should be coherent with your headline, which should be more focused on a single idea.

The sales copy and bullet list is has a similar lack of focus. The bullet list items could be better with a feature/benefit style.

They are also a bit "weak" in terms of message.

For example: In fact you’ll even be able to eat some of the foods you crave some times.

Better: Lose weight while still eating foods you CRAVE!

Qualifiers like "some" and "sometimes" should be in the details/product not the headline.

The picture looks a bit "stock photo" but that seems to be standard for weight loss squeeze pages.

Also edit for grammar and typos. It's "sometimes" not "some times"

EDIT: That may not help much with 7search traffic which has a poor reputation.

It takes a lot of tweaking to sell an offer, than just 2 days of testing. You can't expect to make money right away. Patience!

Their traffic sucks because they rely on affiliates for a decent CHUNK of their traffic.

Seriously. Pony up the extra $$$ for Adwords or Bing.

    It's worth it.

    Big difference.

      Hi stodary2000,

Hopefully I can clear up some misunderstandings for you.

Google Analytics can't measure the time a user spent looking at the last page of their visit to your site. They can only measure the time between page loads, or other measurable events. If a person visits your webpage and reads it for 10, 20 30 minutes or more, then leaves your website without visiting any other webpages on your website, it will always show as 0 second session. This is because you need at least 2 points in time to measure session duration, all Google Analytics has to measure is the time a page loads. If there is not a second page load then they have no idea how long your visitor spent on your website.

      https://support.google.com/analytics.../1006253?hl=en

If you want to measure actual time on site then you need to add tracking events that will give Google Analytics something to measure. Consider adding in-page engagement events to get a better idea of the real session duration average. You could add scroll depth events, videos, and other engagement widgets, that show you much more information about user behavior and ore accurate session duration data.

I've never had success with 7search. Even through different niches and different squeeze pages.... highly converting squeeze pages when it came to Adwords and Bing. I guess it lies in what you're promoting. I would modify your squeeze page slightly. Get rid of the woman and replace her with an ebook image.... that looks good of course. And put another opt-in form to the right or below the bullet points. Also make your domain name more relevant to what you're promoting.
