I need some volunteers to enlighten me with regard to the question.

Exactly how should I do a market research to know a better niche blog topic for either Adsense or Affiliate marketing.

From the vagueness of your question, I am guessing you are talking about coming at this completely cold.

If that is the case then you need to start listening where lots of people hangout, sharing their views and opinions, a place like the warriorforum for instance!

In general, listen to what is trending at the moment and dig deeper into those that spike your interest to determine if there is an existing solution being provided to a hungry market, could you promote that?

I use this process for adsense...

    1. Find out high paying keywords from google keyword tool, keywordcountry etc.
    2. Check those keywords in google trends.
    3. Now check competition in through seoquake plugin in firefox
    4. Finalize your results

Its just basic idea... there are more detailed things to each stages...

Do the keywords and things like that last. Make sure you understand the market first. Learn as much about it as you can. Just remember your market is people that...(whatever all of your criteria are). The key word here though is 'people'. We are always talking to people in anything we produce.

Niche research for adsense earning and affiliate marketing would be totally different, you need to provide some more clarity on your question..

One way you can check is through the statistics listed on each affiliate on clickbank. Not the most detailed but you can see information on how well it has been selling.

Another way would be to use google keyword planner and see how heavily searched your niche is.

Once you've found a niche you want to pursue and make money in, market research starts with confirming customer demand. You can find out what your people in your niche are looking for. You can look in places like:

    - Forums
    - Blogs
    - Facebook groups
    - Offline magazines
    - Articles from various sources
    - Even reading competitors web pages & signing up to their email newsletter to see what they are talking about

This is how i would begin. Then i would look for places to advertise at in this niche. They need to be reachable, and affordable... and have the purchasing power to buy your products and/or services.
