Does anyone know of a script like iWriter?

Let me start of by saying I am not looking to clone the iWriter site, I need something similar to manage my freelance writers.

Does anyone know of a script that I can use that does the following:
  • Allows me to list articles that I need written
  • Ability for writers to accept a job which removes it from the list
  • When a writer has finished writing it goes into a approval process
  • Once approved it adds to their balance

So as you can see it's just like iWriter but I'll be using it personally so it doesn't need to be fancy or pretty....

    Iwriter is a custom script.

    So if you're looking for a clone script, I don't think that there is a ready clone available.

    I'm sure Brad Callen, the forum member behind Iwriter, had his original coders sign an NDA and noncompete.

    Your best bet would be to simply use freelancer.com and get yourself a clone.

    Clone shouldn't cost that much because the existing model is already operational and it can actually be scaled down.

    You have to remember that a lot of exchange platforms like Iwriter may look complicated.

    But when you look at their features they actually fall within manageable range.

    This relatively small scale can be scaled out and can be expanded.

    Look into getting a custom clone built.

    In fact, this would be my first choice because I'd have some form of legal protection.

    It's not like I'm buying an off-the-shelf script, and almost any other person in the world can set up a site just like my own.

    So focus on getting something custom done.

      Why create a custom when you can simply have a ready-made script and hire someone to customize it for you?

      Custom websites like Iwriter would be very expensive. A script is affordable and customization is also very affordable.

    You can hire someone who can get the job done for you. That would be cheaper compared to the method that you're suggesting.

    I have the script you need. I had it developed for my own writing service and still use it to manage writers. Does exactly what you asked for.

    Add article to system (word count, description, instructions etc...)

    Article is added to list of available articles and writers are emailed to let them know it is there.

    Writer accepts article and it is removed from the list of available articles.

    Writer submits article for review/approval.

    You mark as complete and agreed rate is added to writer balance.

    You pay writer daily/weekly/whenever you want.

    All of that is way too complicated. Just use the "add to favorite writers" feature inside of iWriter and build your own team within Iwriter. Way easier, way faster, and much more efficient use of your time...

      Haha I already do that, I use iWriter a lot but that's for linkbuilding copy - not website copy.

      I've built a relationship with my website content writers over a few years so I know they are great at what they do, and I don't see the point in moving that over to iWriter and being charged commission each time I need an article written
