This Is Why I Diversify

Well, everybody is in a tizzy today because of Aweber's problems. Well,
that's why I diversify. Yes, I've lost a lot of money today. It sucks.

But...I diversify so my losses are at a minimum.

For example.

One campaign is very simple.

1. Write article. Submit to EZA

2. Put up blog with review of product and link to sales page at bottom.

3. Collect.

Step 2 is done once. It took me all of 10 minutes.

Today, I had 2 Clickbank sales for that product totalling over $50.

I write just one article a day for this blog. It takes me 15 minutes.

I don't even bother with opt ins because it's for a niche that I could really
care less about. I just know that the product is solid and the review should
sell it. I've got nothing to upsell them with so why bother building a list?

For what?

This product brings me in a steady stream of income almost daily and it's
just one of like 20 products that I promote that do NOT require anything
to do with Aweber.

My total income for the day so far is about $160, which is a little less
than half of what I normally do in a day.

Yeah, it's going to be a sh*tty day, but if I put all my eggs in one basket
it would be even worse.

This is why I diversify.

    Very true Steven...

If it hadn't been showcased here I wouldn't have checked my AWeber leads until tonight... and THEN I would have noticed...

I noticed I was missing a percentage of sales this morning, usually come from the thankyou page I suppose.. and it was looking strange.. but I had stuff to do...

Only dropping in here notified me of the AWeber issue

Sales still good though from direct links etc...

    Peace

Let me add something to the above post.

If any of you could sit behind me for a week and see all the crazy ass sh*t
I do to make money online you'd probably freak out.

I am into so many things that I don't even know how I keep track of them
    all.

And as I've said before, not ONE product that I sell makes me a mint each
month. Hell, I think the most money I've ever made from one product in a
month was about $1,500. But it doesn't matter. When you have 20 different
things out there, even if each one is just bringing you in $20 a day (that's
    right, $20 a day) that's $600 a month X 20 = $12,000 monthly, which is
pretty much what I have been averaging this year so far. I should make
close to $150,000 this year unless the bottom drops out the last few months.

You don't have to have a killer product to make a lot of money in this
    business.

I loved that part right there!
I think that the lack of understanding what you just stated is what keeps a lot of people from putting their own horse in the race.

Man I knew something was up.

I haven't logged into AW for a while but I thought it was pretty odd that none of my last 10 or 15 subscribers confirmed their subscription.

Just as I started testing a new campaign too lol.

        Oh well.

Very ironic indeed that a Weber is down, I just added and tweaked a whole bunch of content in my account last night. LOL

Dude, with your reputation and your experience you could easily be making a half a million a year. It would require moving outside of your comfort zone a little and doing some things differently. But you've already started a thread addressing the fact that you're changing some of the ways you do things. If I were a real betting man, I'd wager you'll surpass the $500,000/year mark by December 2010 if you decide you want to.
