My Favorite Traffic Strategies :-)

I see a lot of people on this forum ask "How can I drive traffic?" These questions pop up almost every single day.

So I'm going to try to help out as many people as I can right now. I wrote a post on my blog that I feel is valuable to a lot you. Instead of linking you guys to it, I felt it was better to copy/paste it over here.

Below I cover some of my favorite traffic strategies for building a bigger list. You can also use these same traffic strategies to send traffic to a website, or offer aswell.

I hate to start this blog post with a cliché, but I feel it must be done.

I’m sure you’ve heard this phrase a million times before in the past, “The MONEY is in the list!”

And it really is no surprise why people keep stuffing that down your throat.

Making money with email marketing (aka sending emails that sell something) is one of the easiest, and most foolproof ways to make money online. It is the keystone to every single successful business out there.

Every single guru you’ve heard in this space has an email list, and I know without a doubt, that is what sends the bulk of their sales online.

In this post I’ll outline some of my favorite ways to increase the size of your email list.

Strategy #1: Be Aggressive

I want you to take a look around my website. Do you notice a reoccurring theme in it?

No, it’s not the many pictures of my handsome face (haha).

I’m talking about optin forms. I have many different ways for people to get on to my email list.

Theres a form on the sidebar, below posts, a popup that appears when you visit the site, and some other hidden goodies.

Why so many? Because it works!

I’m aggressive with list building. Since people see the forms everywhere they’re more likely to join my list. I’m giving them as MANY options as I can to get them to put their info.

Strategy #2: Forum Marketing

Forum marketing is one of my absolute favorite ways to drive traffic online.

It’s great because:

#1: You’re able to establish yourself as an authority figure
#2: I get high quality traffic coming over to my squeeze page

So how does it work?

All you have to do is find a forum related to your niche. A quick Google search with the keyword “NICHE + forum” (without quotes, and replace niche with the name of your niche) will bring up hundreds of forums in seconds.

The most important step is to make sure you add a signature link at the bottom of each of your forum posts. You are able to do this on the majority of forums. Look in your profile page for a link to it.

Next, go to as many threads as you can find and reply to them.

Important: Do not spam! Always try to give value.

If someone has a question, try your best to give them a proper answer to it.
This does two things. One, you’re able to let people see that you’re knowledgeable on the topic. And two, you get eyes on your signature link which will bring in lots of traffic.

Try it out today for an hour on as many forums as you can find, and I guaranteed you will get lots of traffic back to your website.

Strategy #3: Google Alerts

Google Alerts is a hidden gem! Not many people know about it.

It’s amazing because of how effective it works.

Here is the low down…

Google Alerts notifies you every time there’s some type of content out on the web related to the keyword you put in. If I put the keyword ‘dogs’ into Google Alert, I’ll receive emails every day giving me a digest of ALL of the links Google found related to dogs.

What I do is visit as many of the links that Google Alerts brings back and see if I can leave a comment or some type of post that links back to my website.

I have been able to drive hundreds of views back to my site just using this.
