Arbitrage and trouble

So if I purchase goods on Fiverr, let's say they are ebooks and videos, can I then turn around and sell them on another website? I use that as an example because ebooks and videos can be duplicated.

Where's the line drawn?

If you want to use arbitrage method means buy low and sell high then you have to take into account, quality of your products. You get what you pay for.

I would advise to modify your products and give unique twist or angle from your side. In this way, you are adding some value to your products and your buyers will get unique products. Try to be different in this ocean of look-alike.

It all depends on the terms of condition of the digital products that you're buying on Fiverr.

You have to remember that Fiverr's terms of service allow for an additional level of restriction imposed by the service provider.

This means that, generally speaking, all the work that you get from Fiverr is work for hire.

Under US copyright law, work for hire means that all intellectual property rights transfer to the buyer of the service.

With that said, Fiverr's terms actually allow sellers to impose their own restrictions.

I've seen sellers restrict the usage of their work.

    It happens all the time.

Of course, the downside to this is the sellers probably would have less customers because for the most part people who use Fiverr are looking for unrestricted access to the intellectual property that they get.

Keep this in mind: Custom ebooks on Fiverr, you probably can get away with reselling those materials.

This is especially true if they are being sold using a PLR model.

    The same goes for videos.

You have to pay attention to the terms of the sellers.

Not all service providers subscribe to the same service terms.

No, not automatically . . . you can only sell them if the seller gave you a license to resell the item, otherwise you're selling copyrighted material that you don't have permission to sell.

I would be extremely careful about reselling products from Fiverr. You might resell something from a foreign seller or someone unfamiliar with copyright law and they don't have the authority to tell you it's OK to do.
