Trying to find better AWeber Newsletter Signup Form Templates.

Hey Warriors,

I launched my blog last week and am slowly getting all of the major CTA components optimized, including having multiple mailing list signup forms on each content page:

- upper sidebar.
- end of content (article page width box / form needed).
- footer.
- pop up.
- and maybe one mid content for longer articles (design needs to blend with my WP Theme).

I'm currently using AWeber for my mailing service, though I'm not married to them if another one had better available options. I also have OptinMonster installed, which can handle the Pop Up forms with useable designs.

The problem i'm having is all of the standard forms for the other locations on AWeber (and the ones I've seen elsewhere) are pretty hideous designs that are usually ONLY sidebar width. I've made one of the standard AWeber templates work for upper sidebar, but they all look like sore thumbs in the other locations. Aren't at all on par with the site design. If we're being honest, most of them look like 1995 called and wanted their e-mail signup forms back, haha.

Three Questions:

1) Anyone know of any good resources for pre-made signup form templates (quality) that are compatible with AWeber or another major service (I don't mind switching)?

2) Is my best bet to hire a designer / developer to make and install a custom one? If so, what have you paid in the past for this to be done?

3) Any other recommendations for maximizing e-mail signup conversions?

Thanks!

A quick clarification of how Aweber optin code works.

You can use any optin template, all you need to do is insert the Aweber form code in the correct place and it will work. Thus there is no need to switch from Aweber just to use an optin form design you like.

There are plenty of optin page design options take a look at this thread on here

I always go single optin with the download link delivered by follow up message only.

Just went through this exact same thing. Didn't find a thing! Ended up putting together my own template that I'm happy with. It's really not complicated. If you did your site yourself I'll bet if you take a look at creating your own template, you'll find it to be a pretty easy process.

This looks like what I'm going to have to end up doing. I seriously can't believe how out of date the standard templates with the major mailing services look. I kept going through them all yelling at the screen, haha.

Just design your own page and add the raw "form" html to it. It's actually very easy. If you don't want to even try, just pay someone twenty bucks or so to add the raw "form" html to your page design.

You don't have to use the autoresponder companies canned designs that don't fit your sites design.
