      Gorilla or guerilla? Does it matter? Either one. I have seen both terms used.

        Gorilla Marketing.. LOL (no offense)
        Anyway.. from wikipedia;
        "Guerrilla Marketing" was coined by Jay Conrad Levinson in his popular 1984 book Guerrilla Marketing, as an unconventional system of promotions on a very low budget, by relying on time, energy and imagination instead of big marketing budgets. The term has since entered the popular vocabulary to also describe aggressive, unconventional marketing methods generically.

        Oh... Didn't see -V- when I hit the reply button..

        Guerilla Marketing is a tactical marketing approach that employs outside of the box tactics with a thrifty and cost effective approach.

        Guerilla Marketers use back door approaches to get their products exposure and catch their competitors off gaurd....much like Guerilla Warfare

        The Guerilla Marketing Book is a great book to own and one that I believe every marketer should own.

        Most Internet Marketing these days is Guerilla Marketing.

        Have you seen the video on YouTube about people popping popcorn with their cell phones?

        That was a classic guerilla marketing campaign that promoted Blue Tooth technology. The video's cost virtually nothing to make..and became viral in weeks.

        Viral Marketing is Guerilla Marketing.

        I could go on and on.....

          Hi everyone. Thanks for clearing up my question. Personally, I like Gorilla better than Guerilla. Does anyone have any examples on how to be a guerilla marketer? Or should I just read Jay Conrad Levinson's book?

          Thanks Mark for the link. Gorilla Bootcamp looks pretty cool. I am going to check it out....
