Membership platform to use for Clickbank products?

We're coming out with a brand new diet that we will offer through clickbank. Our program is almost ready, we wont just be offering PDF file but videos for every chapter as well. The question is, how do I create a membership site so that every users that buys our product through clickbank will have their own account to login with and download the ebook and watch the videos?

I know people use kajabi, wishlist, but they all offer limited members. I know our product is going to go big, so we need unlimited members, so what platform offers that? Can anyone suggest?

Also another advise that I need, if we just go with the "thank you page" where they can downlaod and watch all the videos, will that be a better, wiser move? I see alot of vendors do that, but are they missing out on the emails that they could be getting with memberships?

We need your experts advice, we're totally newb to it. Please advise!

What I can tell you is that if you were going to start out, and weren't sure exactly what you needed, I'd start by looking at Exchange from iThemes.
    Hope that helped

Have you checked out Digital Access Pass? It is what I use and is a powerful membership application. I use it in conjunction with wordpress and the optimize press 2 theme to build all but one of my membership sites.

No member limits, set up different member levels, drop content, and what is most important for you, it integrates very well with Clickbank. It even allows auto-login after they purchase click bank so unlike some membership systems, they don't have to register after buying (I am looking at you wish list).

Thanks OnlineStoreHelp, but I don't think its good idea to go with WP, as I see my competitors and almost all vendors build sites using HTML/CSS for complete control and ultimate flexibility.

I just can't figure out the members part.

Are there any vendors that are willing to help, or someone knowledge are willing to step in and offer some help?

    Great job guys!

What I would recommend you to do is build a WordPress Membership Site. You will be able to have an unlimited number of members on your site. Plus, a WordPress Membership Site will be easy to work with!

There are many powerful WP Membership Plugins that you can use. The best ones are premium ones, of course.

Giving your customers a membership on your own site, is a smart thing to do. You can also capture their emails when they create their account. This is a great way to build a buyer's list.

I think building a WordPress site and setting up Membership features, would be the smart way to go!

    I hope this helps!

    Keep up the great work!

If you're using Clickbank take a look at MemberMouse which is a WP plugin.

      https://membermouse.com

If you're in the fitness industry, you might know who Mike Chang is...it's what they use for the Sixz Pack Secrets site.

      Six Pack Shortcuts

You can see examples of a few other sites that use MemberMouse on their website.

FreedomBlogger, the problem with WP is that you dont have an ultimate flexibility, I haven't seen any big time vendors using WP!

          Really?

I have been building membership sites with WordPress for a while now, and there are many good features and a lot of flexibility. I'm not sure what exactly you are trying to accomplish with your membership site - but WP Membership Plugins offer you a lot of features that would be more than enough to create a complete membership site for a product.

There are some amazing plugins that give you the flexibility!

          Just take edlewis's advice!

That is a good membership plugin, actually.

Maybe you want to build like a super dooper membership site and that will cost you a lot of money - but a WP Membership site, with the right premium plugins, should be enough to get you going!

OnlineStoreHelp, we wont really have a memership site, its just a clickbank product which consumers purchase and have their own access to the program, no monthly fees, just 1 time purchase. Will any of the memebership program you listed work for us?

Both can do that. They allow ultimate flexibility. One time payment, downloads, recurring. Either way you want them to download into a portal.

Everyone I see doing heavy duty membership sites (Ramit Sethi, David Siteman Garland) are using wordpress. Or, in some cases, they are using Drupal which is also quite powerful but requires a larger learning curve. But both Amember Pro and DAP can be used on Strictly coded HTML sites or wordpress.

But, if all you are doing is wanting them to log in and download stuff, why not just do gum road?

OnlineStoreHelp, whats a gum road? Just a thank you page with all the content? But how about the videos, just post them on it as well?

FreedomBlogger, I would love to use wordpress, but I just dont know why other vendors dont use them and I read online because they don't offer ultimate flexibitliy. Just checkout the top 20 clickabnk products, none of them use WP.

Mike Chang isn't a top ClickBank vendor?

I'm curious how you know that the other CB vendors aren't using WordPress? I wouldn't be so sure of that. In fact, I think it's BS...just being honest.

I am willing to bet more are using it than you think. Diabetes Destroyer is using WordPress....and OptimizePress.

Survive the End Days (http://survivetheenddays.com) is also using WordPress...and OptimizePress.

That's two...three if we're counting the Six Pack Secrets site I referenced earlier...and I didn't have to look very hard to find them. All using WordPress...and on Clickbank.

Yet...you're telling us 'no one' uses it...and dismissing it. You were the one who came here looking for advice and info. You're getting it...and blowing it off. LOL.

From what you describe, we're talking about a very simple setup. Sales pages and protected download page/pages.

You need to look at WordPress...plus a membership plugin. Since you're using Clickbank you should look at MemberMouse or WishList member.

Something like OptimizePress will do the trick...and it works with WordPress. I'd hardly call it restrictive.

Personally, I sort of prefer ClickFunnels to OptimizePress...but that's just me. ClickFunnels is a hosted SaaS, not WordPress, so you'll pay a little more. But if you have it, you don't need much else to get started.

Don't take this the wrong way but - You're worried about the WRONG things.

Worrying about 'unlimited' members before you've made one sale...if your site turns out to be as 'big' as you think it's going to be, having unlimited members won't be an issue. If you're making money hand-over-fist spending a little extra to keep everything up and running and protected is a good "problem" to have.

Most of these setups will also integrate with Aweber or whatever auto responder you're using, so you'll capture emails automatically every time someone buys and registers.

edlewis, because I've checked them all, and as I keep mentioning barely any of them use wordpress. I know about optimizepress, leadpages, but the problem with them is that you don't have the ultimate flexibility. We already have the designs done for our product and it will look similar to the popular diet on clickbank, the3weekdiet, so I know the only way to get it done is with HTML/CSS, maybe I'm wrong, I'm just total newb to developing part.

Can you tell me if with clickfunnel and optimize press I'll be able to build a website similar to: http://www.3weekdiet.com/ (without all the reviews and extract stuff below the video, but should be including the "order now" button as it appears there towards the end of the video presentation, right below the video frame,).

We already do have designs and even that "order now" button designed as well, which should appear just like on the page above there further towards the end of the video, is it something that you could do with optimizepress or clickfunnel as well? Does it have that flexibility?

What about the additonal pages such as:

    1. the discount page, try exiting the 3weekdiet and click stay on the page
    2. What about the exit popup feature?
    3. http://www.3weekdiet.com/affiliates.html

do they have all this features and ability to add them?

I know our diet is going to be the next big thing, because nobody offers the type of quality and videos along with it, made by pros like we do. My part is to just set things up and I'm trying to figure this whole thing out. There is a tutorial or anything on it for some reason.
Well...I've given you three examples of popular Clickbank sites using WP...and I barely looked.

      Even so...there are options.

aMember integrates with Clickbank...check them out. Membership software - aMember Pro

Or DAP - Digital Access Pass. Or FusionHQ - FusionHQ v2

There are plenty of options. But too many options can bog you down...

I'm glad you have confidence in your product. You should. But don't let some of this other stuff bog you down. If you have that kind of confidence, you should have no problem investing in a service that makes it all run smoothly.

Even with a sales page done in HTML/CSS, there are still ways to use WordPress as the back-end for membership purposes.

I hope some of this info helps. If you're new to this, it can be confusing. You honestly may want to pay someone to 'consult' you on this. It may save you some frustration and mistakes.

+1 for digital access pass, it's in a league of its own, extremely well supported and works nicely with JVZoo and Clickbank. I absolutely love it.

After doing some research and consulting with other people, looks like OP is the best platform to go with.

Thanks everyone for your input, I highly appreciate it!

Cool. I hope the setup of your new site and your launch goes successfully.

OP has some solid templates in their "Clubhouse" that may help you speed things along without having to start from scratch. There are also a few excellent designers who produce templates in OP's Marketplace.

If you are going to be driving a lot of traffic to your offer once it is up, you will want to either talk with your current host or look for another host tailored to hosting for WordPress. Both OP and WP can hog resources...so it's important to have a quality hosts who understands this, especially if you are getting tons of traffic.
