Take a moment and think about where you'd go to see what people are buying. If you come up with Ebay, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, CNET, Tucows and a lot of others? Then, good on you! You're thinking along the right lines.
The idea is to find out what types of things people are already buying...and buying a LOT of! Once you know that, you've taken a giant step towards creating your first information product that will sell very quickly!
