Is it legal to get fake YouTube views to make money?

I want to make a YouTube channel, put up a few videos, and use one of the Fiverr "guaranteed 20,000 views" gigs to make money from YouTube on the monetized videos. These views are inevitably low-quality, but I don't need high-quality views as long as they're counted by YouTube. But...is it legal to do this?

Not illegal in the context that you are not going to be fined or put in prison for it.
    But you could breaking TOS.

And at the least you are polluting the Web with garbage.

Trust me taking short cuts like this will ultimately get you nowhere in the long run !

Youtube will flag your videos if you get too many views too fast. They know that you are spamming the video.Plus buying views is a waste of time most of the views you get will be robots. Not even real people.Your are better off buying a "video seo" gig off fiverr instead. This will get you natural and organic views instead.Which is way better.

Technically you could since it's fraud, but only YouTube knows what the threshold is.

Just ask Vick Strizheus, who went to prison for faking CPA leads.

Ethics is obviously NOT your strong suit.

I think you should go ahead and do it. All of us have to learn some lessons the hard way.

Well I doubt the "gig" has "real" viewers just waiting to look at a video...

it is bots....they can and will disallow your revenue , maybe pull your account

you won't go to jail...but is this worth it? You know the views are worthless (word fake in subject line LOL)....but hey if you are determined to do it, just let us know how it turned out

You might get your YouTube channel banned and if the violation is sever your Adsense account will be banned and if you are banned from Adsense it's for life
even if you make another Adsense account when you set up your information and they trace it back to your banned account they will close that new account as well.
I was about to lose monetization on all of my channels because of a copyright strike that i got on a channel that i made for fun that was getting 100 views/day. luckily i resolved the strike but I'm telling you this to show you how strict google is with their monetization program.

It may not be illegal as in you might not go to jail for doing this, but it is obviously not allowed and violates the Terms Of Service. There are no shortcuts. There are many high quality WSO's about YouTube marketing here on this site - buy one or two and learn the techniques. Then make videos in a niche you are interested in and apply the techniques. You can use Fiverr to help with making the videos and doing the work to get it ranked the right way, but not to buy views.
