How many sales do you guys make with a WSO thread bump?

Hey guys,

So, I've been doing some plugin/software launches on warrior plus and JVZoo the past few months.

As you know, launches last around 7 days, and you can't expect any sales after that.

So, I though I'd launch them as WSOs as well. How profitable are WSO threads?

My software are priced around $14-17 so 1-2 sales per bump would be enough to make back what I put in.

Can someone who releases WSOs tell me if it's worth it? I won't be recruiting actively recruiting affiliates for this (since I've already launched the products in other platforms). The plan is to depend on warrior forum's traffic to get me sales.

Say I have a decent copy and demo video, with a click-worthy title.

Is it worth it?

I'd love to hear your thoughts

To be honest, I would say it depends on what your goals are...

IF you are satisfied with a few sales per bump, but realistically speaking is that enough of a goal.

Sometimes its about what your selling not the amount you make, what I mean by that is IF you develop a good product the financial return or ROI will take care of itself, that I think is the greatest challenge facing the marketing professional these days.

There are short cuts and there are pure paths.

Most of what I see marketed today are all short cuts, (HYPE, Promises not kept, short term sales then flatline and they just abandon it and move on to the next thing)

That is not a recipe for success.

ITs a sure way to be unsuccessful, but most people can't see around the corner, they just want to make that quick buck.

ITs far better to develop a long term money maker and continue to improve the product than to make a few bucks for a short period of time.

Thanks for answering my question Tim.

Well, the thing is, I create software, not push button gimmicks that become useless in a while, but solid solutions to real problems marketers face (including me). I focus on automation and enhancement (in terms of traffic, conversion etc) while creating software.

So, I think most of my software/plugins will be relevant (of course, with a few updates here and there, to keep up with the market).

With that said, I was planning to use the Warrior forum threads as another avenue of income, since it seemed a waste to stop selling my products after a launch, especially since they are solid software that a lot of people can benefit from.

      What would you suggest Tim?

I've launched over a dozen WSO's here on the forum... And bumped a bunch of times.

To be honest there's no trend that I could ever record haha.

There's a million variables that help determine who will read your thread, and who will buy.

So... Since there's a million variables you cannot control, I would advise to at least consider the variables that you can control. Chief among those variables, is the quantity of end users viewing the WSO forum.

So... A week before you decide to bump (or launch... Or whatever)... Keep track of how many people are viewing, and at what time. Make a spread sheet and see at what day + time the forum has the most viewers, and then veer your launches toward this time.

Naturally, you want your WSO thread to go live when there are as many eyeballs as possible, because remember it's largely a numbers game.

Sorry I couldn't offer anything more concrete, but this is my experience.

    ;]

PS: For $20, it's still one of the best marketing budget you can spend these days.

    I wish you the best!!!

Wow, that's an awesome idea. You're right, there are a ton of variables, but I'd at least get my offer in front of more people.

      Thanks!

If you don't mind telling me, how much do you make per bump on average and how many bumps do you do per month/week?

I`ll try to make a shorter post because all of the above have pretty long answers : ) To be honest I haven`t had a bump not bring in at least 2 sales. So if that`s all you need to get your bump money back, then why don`t you ? You don`t have anything to lose
