Hehehehehe.....hehehehehehe.....How(muffled) old (muffled) are (muffled) you, man?

A little poem for ya (ahem)

    Paul Myers,
    Writes the things that get the buyers;
Ain't gettin' any younger by the day,
Still, the 'ol cowboy's got lots to say.
Have known him for the past, what, ten years?
Though we hardly share any beers.
Seems a gazillion years he's been here at this forum,
But he never ever bores 'em.

Ah, Paul Myers, Paul Myers, that grizzled old cowboy,
    A friend, a mentor, a writer with a Voice,
    Happy Birthday you old dog,
Dang, I still think you ROCK!

Thanks, one and all. Now, as for the smart alecs in the group...

Paul Hancox... Watch it, bud. "Testing" has more than one meaning. Just keep an eye on the leprechaun killer to see what happens when you flunk.

      Alexa... "Old boy?" Phfffthhhttt!

Elmer... Too late. Alexa got the "old fart" in reply.

Pearson... Acording to some, I was around before the rocks. I'll let you decide what that means.

      Tracy... Think UFOs.

KenStrong... There's only one error involved in that sentence. That one last beer.

Richard... I can neither confirm nor deny that I am not confirming or denying. Anything. Ever.

Kenneth... KEWL! Last year it was a dirty limerick or two (one from Scotland!). This year it's Chinese verse, with a redneck flavor.

      Gotta run. Beers calling.

Maybe I'm just being a tad crazy here, but this is strange.......

I downloaded Paul's e-book "Need To Know" a couple weeks ago, scanned the table of contents real quick, though "Hmm, maybe I'll get around to that sometime" , then just let it sit there on my hard drive among the zillion other free e-books I've collected (that I've never read).

Now I'm a newbie and haven't really taken much action yet other than setting up a blog with no links to anything and just reading a bunch on the warrior forum for the past month. Today a little voice in my head said "pick something and READ it, and get your butt in gear!". So I went to my "folder of a zillion e-books" and Paul's book was the one that stood out.

So I just finished reading the first chapter, "Becoming Unstoppable".......and wow, that just blew my mind! That has got to be one of the most motivating things I've read anywhere.....and I've read a lot of self help stuff. It makes absolute sense....after I read it the light bulb went off in my head and I thought to myself "duh!!!".

So the strange part is that I decided that I needed to find out more about this Paul Myers guy so I fire up the good ol' Warrior Forum and I find out that today is his birthday!

Maybe I'm a nutjob for thinking this is strange and the rest of you would say it's just a small coincidence, but I'm going to take this as a sign and finish reading the rest of that book, then get my butt in gear!

Thanks Paul for that motivation, and Happy Birthday!!!

          Yo, Geezer!,

          New Bum,

Glad to hear it was helpful. I was pointed to a site you might like, run by a fellow with a very similar approach to the concept. Covers it in more depth, though. His name is Jason Gracia, and the site is http://www.motivation123.com

He has a newsletter which regularly has very useful tips in it. Worth reading if you liked Chapter Zero.
