choosing a `keyword domain name` for my mini niche site !

Hi guys,
I`m struggling with choosing a domain name for my niche site, I wanted to create a site selling a bodybuilding/fittness supplement called `creatine` because i know this is a very popular supplement right now and infact have used this myself so i do know abit about this market and the supplement itself.

But if this becomes a successful campaign i would like to add other supplements to the site but this is why i`m struggling to choose a domain name, Do i choose a domain name which is based around the keyword like `creatine.com` which would be cool but for the fact i`m hoping to add other supplements to the site later so would it be best to choose a domain name like `powersupplements.com` which is not containing the keyword `creatine` Emmm i`m so confused about this can anybody give me their thoughts on this pls !!

    1. plug your keywords into the GKT
    2. sort by global desc
    3. dump the results into a notepad file
    4. head on over to godaddy and paste them into a bulk register search
    5. pick the one that attracts the most traffic
    6. register and dance a jig

      If you plan on expanding with different products, keep the url semi-generic and memorable. You can use your keywords in your meta tags.
      Keep it short, easy to remember words that are easy to spell.
      if you get a domain name like creatine.com , buy up the misspelled versions as well
      Power Supplements has over 12 million google pages
      creatine over 1 million
      which is more probable?

      Is this a product built around you or your reputatin as a health/fitness person? if so, use your name.
      Is there a specific people group you are reaching such as dog owners who need creatine. work that in there somehow.

    Creatine has been around for years. It is not just popular right now.
    So there are probably many people marketing it. And there is a really nice site out there for the main keyword already.

    If you plan to just market creatine find a good name with that as a base and create a mini site. If you plan to include other supplements and develop pages use a generic name.

      I like to use domains with the Main Name in them and...include what you are doing.

      You said you're setting up a niche with Creatine AND other items so...the following domains are available as we speak on the 2nd day of Aug, 09 at 2pm Pacific.

      "CREATINECONNECTION.com" or "CREATINECONCEPTS.com"

      I use "PCNAMES.com" for quick searches.

        If you are planning on expanding your products then I would go with powersupplemts.com, if not you want to use a domain name that has the keyword creatine in it and for picking domain names use domaintools.com

        But if I were you I would go with powersupplements.com and build a wordpress blog and then you can have a page for each product such as powersupplements.com/creatine and optimize that one page around the keyword creatine this will rank well in the search engines and since creatine is a supplement it is relevant to your niche and a related keyword term.

          The Best Creatine = 217 Daily Searches 7,780 Title Page 48% OCI

          Best Creatine Supplement 145 Daily Searches 8,470 Title Page 83% OCI

          Title page is all web pages globally who mention in the title page. Fewer than 10,000 is best. OCI is the chance someone is looking to buy rather than just shop. You want a high OCI.

          Best First Choice for a top article.

          Creatine Side Effects = 1,088 Daily Searches 6,490 Title Page 11% OCI

          So on your article your URL will look like this:

          www.YourDomain.com/Creatine-Side-Effects.html

          SEO Tip: In the title of the page "source code" use "creatine side effects"

          In the Meta keywords I did some theme research for you. You will use this list because it is the top 8 keywords for the top 5 pages listed for "Creatine Side Effects"

          Meta Keywords= creatine, effects, side, muscle, supplementation, take, side effects, creatine supplementation

          Meta Description: Keep it under 150 - Use the main keyword twice if it sounds good in a sentence. Remember this will be what people seen on the search page.

          Buy your domain, add your article. Promote the article site through Bookmarking. You will see Google first page in 1-2 weeks of posting.
