anybody knows of a free (or at least cheaper) keyword tool like Keyword Snatcher, or Keyword Xtreme?

Both of these tools are way more than I can afford at the moment (especially since I'm a platinum member for LTP, too). And unfortunately LTP doesn't have the awesome keyword pulling feature from google's and amazon's suggestion databases.... at least not yet, cause I talked to LTP support and they said they're looking into this for future versions of their tool.

anyway, what are you guys using? I feel that Adwords' keyword planner only returns garbage keywords now that I've seen the thousands upon thousands of keywords that keyword snatcher and keyword xtreme return. The difference is just insane. For example I did a simple search for "pid controller" using LTP (which uses keyword planner) and sorted by number of words (3 or more) and I only got 400+ results, But that's not the problem. THe problem is that most of those keywords that keyword planner returned were meaningless keywords (like: "what is a pid controller", or "pid controller design", etc.) Just utter trash keywords that were not even long tail keywords (most of them were 4 words or less), no buyer intent for any of them, and this is a product for god's sake!

I then tried Keyword Snatcher (I had a cracked version of it) for the same "pid controller" keyword and in under a minute (before the tool crashed) I got 1800+ something keywords, only long tail ones. I'm pissed off that I couldn't save that list because like I said - the tool crashed while searching for keywords -, but anyway, after seeing those results I started looking into various keywords on the market and found these 2 (the snatcher, and the xtreme) that do similar things and I'd like to get my dirty hands on a tool similar to these 2. Heck, I'd even buy one of them were they cheaper, but as I said, at the moment I can't afford their insane price ($47).

So yeah, that's what I wanted to say. I hope any of you handsome chaps knows of a solution to my problem and is in helping mood to help a fellow marketer wannabe.

Thanks

PM me if you have any questions.
  • I suggest the google adwords tool.
  • You could try this one that is recommended by Yoast SEO plugin... Seo Book Keyword Suggestion Tool
  • The best one i've ever used that was really good was Keyword Discovery. Now the paid option is around $60/month - but you will get a BOATLOAD of keywords related to your niche with the paid option. But if you don't mind a bit of copying and pasting, and formatting in MS Word... check out the free version of Keyword Discovery.
