Personally? Freelance writing gigs/clients. It's one of the safest, fastest ways to generate an income online -- assuming you're half decent, know how to send a good email and skip the cheap clients.

When it comes to making real money online (the kind that can help pay your bills and the like), you really have to focus on learning a long-term business strategy. Once you lay a solid foundation, it will grow over time. Niche blogging (the review-site model used in conjunction with affiliate marketing) is by far the most common and least expensive ways to go. I like it because of the residual aspect - put up content once but continue to profit (due to the search engines).

Because of the time of year, there are lots and lots of products coming out, which translates into opportunities to get your foot in the door. For example, they've had a lot of stuff on Yahoo trends. You know if people are looking for these things now, they are going to be looking for this (and more) and the holidays approach. Here are some examples:

While niche blogging is my preferred method, you can also do things like Kindle or get paid as a ghostwriter or as someone who publishes content to sites in exchange for cash or open a PLR store and so on. The method you choose to get paid by depends on what you're into.

The best way to get somebody to sign up to your list that I ever saw, was to offer them a chance at winning a free $10 gift card for simply entering their email address. Free ebooks are nice to get but offering free cash was pretty cool. I personally think that getting somebody to sign up to your list is only half of the battle though, getting people to open and read your emails is much more complicated. You'll need killer copywriting to make any sales from these and I eventually gave up on trying to make sales with an autoresponder. Social media is a great way to go as well and getting them to like you on Facebook is one of the free ways to keep them updated with all your new stuff

You could easily make that by offering your services on fiverr or upwork (formerly odesk). Or you could make much more than that by spending a little money. Run a FB ads campaign to a landing page giving something away and build an email list.

I would come on Warrior forum and ask how to make 400 per month. I would then read over all the posts but take no action because...well it's too much work.

I would then keep looking for an EASY push button way to make one thousand per day in the next week or do working only 1 hour per day!!!

Find a good market with lots of competition then I separate myself from all that noise and build my own list while conditioning my prospect to move forward and purchase my suggested product.

Once I have all built and set up then I optimize it for some good numbers. Once I have my numbers and I am happy I scale my campaigns with some ppc traffic.

Works like a charm and clockwork every time! Some are a little more challenging than others but I still get the same results every time.

If you need quick money online without any skills or experience, I advise you go grab a lawn mower and mow lawns for neighbors.

This is the fastest way to $1,000 per month. Once you make that money you can now invest it into learning and building an online business.

If I want to be assured of consistent income that grows from month to month (and doesn't just stay at $400 per month), I'd adopt a multi-pronged approach.

I'd create and launch at least one product a month to build a buyers list, and then run contests that would encourage these buyers to promote it and therefore build up my list in the process.

I'd also create mini-products that I'd request to be featured on download pages of paid products, and I'd of course require an opt-in to access the product.

This is how I'd continually be building my buyers list day in and day out.

I'd promote relevant and helpful products to this list. Rinse and repeat, reap the rewards of continually increasing income from one month to the next!

Starting out on Elance or similar platforms and building your way to the top is something I would do.

If someone can't figure out how to make $400/month online on their own, all the case studies in the world aren't going to help them. Instead, point them to their local library to check out some sales books.

I would recommend a multi-level approach.

First, I would recommend providing a service, such as ghostwriting or graphic creation or web design...the possibilities are endless as long as someone is willing to pay for your skills.

Then, while you are earning from your freelancing endeavors, which can be way more than $400/month with little effort, I would work on creating your own products, whether it's ebooks or PLR or whatnot. Build a website, get active on social media, network with others in your niche. But, above all else, focus on providing VALUE to your audience.

It may take time, but eventually even newbies can make way more than just a few hundred dollars per month. It's all about learning as much as you can and coming to the table with a "giving" attitude, not a taking one.
