Pretend I'm offering you a free bonus in something you are interested in....

Which would be more compelling ?

Obviously something immediately downloadable has some huge benefits to the anxious.....

HOWEVER...

Being able to send them stuff snail mail opens up a huge range of possibilities in terms of opening up some other channels...plus, if they are willing to pay for shipping and handling, you would have a list of buyers who may be willing to purchase a monthly newsletter or something to that effect.....

Just my thoughts though.

  I prefer ebooks, in general. That is because it's much easier to zero in on the exact section you want. You can also view the whole before you begin. Kind of like getting a feel for what it's all about.
  
  Video and audio have their place, but they also have their limitations. At the very least, I would include transcripts with any audio or video.

  I don't care for videos. Unless there's something I absolutely need to see done live, which occasionally happens, I can read much faster than people can talk. Video, then, tends to eat up time where I could be doing something else.
  
  I still ultimately prefer to read honest to god dead tree books, but ebooks are right in there.

  Scott - My first preference would be mp3 IF it came w transcript. Otherwise, choices would be:
