Sure they're real. Whether they are any good is another question.

Have a good look around this thread. http://www.warriorforum.com/freemark...g-website.html

o yeah, I use flippa as a traffic strategy for my affiliate business as well.

I buy my own domain and throw it on my hosting account. I then upload some files and create myself a website.

I might turn around then and make a sale or two first before I list it but if I am lazy sometimes I just list the the site without the sales proof.

I don't ask a lot for my site sometimes 20 bucks sometimes a dollar. See when the site sells in order to really leverage the power behind it you need a particulr service and thats where my residual affiliate commission comes into play.

Works like clockwork although sometimes I have to change the look of the site a little.

So I make a couple of bucks from selling the site on flippa plus I usually make an affiliate commission at the same time.

Thats just a fast way to use flippa.

Build yourself a website that is getting good traffic and maybe even making some money and you can turn around and sell it for good money.

    I love Flippa

Flippa has cracked down significantly on income claims recently, and sellers have to show proof and reveal their Google Analytics account in order to have their statistics verified by Flippa.

As always, just use common sense. Ask the seller for proof and additional information if you're unsure about anything.

If the seller balks and/or he can't back anything up with verifiable statistics, then walk away from the deal. It's just like buying real estate, it's really not that hard to spot the gems from the rubbish on Flippa.

I've made some money buying websites on Flippa... and I've lost some money buying websites on Flippa.

tip, when buying a website ask for the fund to be in escrow long enough for you to verify traffic and revenues after the website has been transferred to you. typically, this could be 3-7 days.

Yes they are real. However it can be dangerous like anything. People are always out to make money, they will do some crzy stuff.

Just use your head... ask the seller any questions.

And like mentioned above, you should use Escrow.

Besides being a good platform to buy and sell websites, browsing on Flippa is a great way to see what works by taking a look at the description of the profitable sites being sold.

Years ago I remember how I got some great tips when I was creating websites reading about how the successful sites drove traffic to their websites.

I won my last battle with a scammer trying to rip me off of a website purchase on Flippa.

Paypal is now expanding buyer protection to digital goods so not sure how that is going to play out...would love to hear of any current selling experiences using Flippa/Paypal combo.

The websites are real. The people who sell them are usually scammers.
    Avoid like the plague.

    Hi vjpvjp123

Some of the Flippa websites are making real money, but there are also many websites not making any money.
