Amazon affiliate account terminated - questions

Hi guys, some of you may recall I was asking about affiliate payments a few weeks ago. Well, I decided to write to Amazon to confirm a few things, and now I my account has been terminated!

I am guessing after I wrote to them they took a look at my site and saw problems. Specifically, I had a couple of user reviews on each product review page.

ANYWAY....

As annoyed as I am, I understand I broke their rules and am now out of pocket all my advertising fees (I'm saying this with gritted teeth, by the way)...

I have some questions I would like answering, if possible, please:
  1. I have another Amazon account that uses my same address etc - can I expect that will soon be terminated as well?
  2. Can someone please confirm with me that cloaked links are okay by Amazon? Is there a link somewhere to confirm this?
  3. I have written to them explaining my situation, and have removed all the reviews - is there any chance they may reinstate (I'm thinking not)?
  4. If I open another account under a family member, and then add the site to this account, do you think that would that be okay in the eyes of Amazon (I could have theoretically sold the site)? I would wait a month or so before doing this, and obviously use different affiliate links.
  5. Is there anything else, other than obviously no Amazon reviews, that I need to make sure is on/not on my site(s). I do have the Amazon disclosure statement on all my sites.

I'm really gutted this has happened, but will learn from this and hopefully be able to continue, as I actually really enjoy creating these sites and seem to have much more luck with Amazon than any other affiliate program.

    Since you have violated Amazon rules, you basically screwed yourself. Best thing to do is make sure your other site is 100 percent set up to comply, with their TOS. Also don't open another account anytime soon in a family members name. Best to lay low. If they shut the other account down your done.

      Well depending upon how bad you want your account back and how much money you were making.

      The easiest and legal way would be to register a business with a site like legalzoom and get an EIN.

      The EIN is basically the same as an SSN. so for every business you register that has a new EIN you can make a new account.
