Need a JVZoo expert...

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi I am setting up a funnel. I would like to have a downsell if they decide not to buy anything that I could just give away a ebook. That way I can at least add them to my email list. Support said I could do this but they didn't say how.

I can't just make it a product because the minimum is 50 cents plus I really don't want to put them through PayPay either if it's free.

Anyone ever done this before?

JVZoo support takes a long time to answer, I thought this would be quicker.

Hey jmk909er,

It sounds like what you really want to do is make an exit offer (vs. a downsell).

Put your primary offer on JVZoo, and then find an exit script to put on your sales page that will present an exit offer (web page) when they try to exit your sales page.

That exit page should contain an opt-in form with your free ebook as an incentive for the sign up, and once they opt-in, you send them a link to the ebook download via their first auto-responder email.

I was just about to type a reply when I saw Sid's reply so shortened mine.

But basically yeah they buy your FE, and then you have options. Remember now they have bought your FE you have them in your buyers list.

So.... find a great product that will compliment yours and have that as your OTO so as it gives you a good relationship with another marketer

Thanks guys, what I did was make t so that if they click on the main offer and decide not to buy and they click the "No Thanks" then it sends them to one of my squeeze pages. More concerned with building my list.

  Joe, it sounds very sensible what you are doing, but you could still do what was suggested earlier with the exit splash taking them to your squeeze page as well.
  
  This way you have belt and braces; hopefully if they don't want your product they will click on the no thanks option, but if they do just try to exit the page (which many people do), you are still going to give them the option to sign up for your free gift via the exit splash.
  
  The exit scripts are quite easy to find if you google them, but if you are struggling PM me and I'll send you over a template page with exit splash coding included.
