hi,

i found this cool site that automatically pings your site to 90+ websites
with a click of button...i'm sure many of you have already heard about it...

it's www.pingler.com

my question is...

...is it dangerous if i ping a website every single day?

should there be a limit? because it's hard to keep up with which site
or when i ping...cuz i have multiple sites...

would love to hear your thoughts...

thanks
BJ

    Hey BJ,

I've heard both side of the spectrum.

Jack Humphrey teaches this to his
students to use it. I've heard Stephen
Pierce teach on using it as well.

Just this past Wednesday, I heard a
    few say to be careful.

I have been using it for about 9 mons
thus far. I tend to pay attention to
    Jack Humphrey because what he's
been sharing has worked for me.

    Have an awesome Sunday!

    CF-

Does he teach to ping a site everyday? I am asking cause as Ron said, some sites may see you as a spammer and the fun is over.

If you pay some close attention, there aren't really 90+ websites.
Just a variation of google at different location make up about 56 sites already..

If your pinging too much, you could run the risk of being seen as a spammer, that would be my concern. Course think it depends on if the pings are new content, don't see how that would hurt.

On the other hand, many places will come back on a regular basis to check your rss, so no real need to ping all the time.

Once you get so many sites that it's hard to keep track of who did what to whom and how often per day (or night), it may be time to consider setting up a spreadsheet or database. That'll do your remembering for you. And it beats trying to keep it all in your head.

    Good luck with it.
