Need some advice coming up with a plan for one of my first contract jobs.

I've been trying to get into freelance marketing for a while. I have an opportunity to do so with a local business.
The problem is, they're doing a nice job of marketing and I'm having a difficult time coming up with additional marketing tactics that would be successful.

There a print shop. They specialize in business-to-business printing. They do larger projects like banners, signs tradeshow signs, vehicle wraps etc.. However, they can do just about any print job. They will not turn down smaller jobs.
They looking for me to do some SEO for them. This is a skill I am learning.

For social media they post a lot of pictures of recently completed projects. They are very active and consistent.

Here's what I have for a plan so far.
  • A social media campaign that would appeal to businesses that require print work.
  • Possibly a blog. I don't know what kind of information I would use. But if they want search engine optimization, a blog would be critical. It may keep people coming back as well.
  • They are a union shop. Because of that, they do a lot of business from union organizations in the area. I'm trying to become a way to capitalize on this further.
  • Possibly rewriting the website copy. That may be overstepping my bounds and something I am not familiar enough with the business to do properly.
I'm open to any suggestions For on or off-line options.
Thank you in advance for the help.

It sounds like you are possibly biting off more than you can chew. I don't know enough about said business to give you any real advice. If you want to share more details that defiantly help, or you can private message me if you want to keep them details private.
