How do you bring people to your landing page?

Hi,
I've designed a website which is good with graphic and content and I also put email subscribe button from aweber there but I still don't know how to get people in my website, Do you usually use google adwords (PPC/CPA) and FB for this or you follow other methods.
My goal is to make my email list, but isn't very expensive to use google or fb advertising system for this purpose, It might cost me 1 dollar for every click and hopefully subscribe.
Thank you in advance for your response

Yes, a lot of PPC, along with many other traffic sources including affiliate traffic.

I would recommend you check out Bing...

Extremely targeted, and very, very cheap clicks.

You can go to forums of your niche and start posting content related to your niche! Once you have posted some you can put your website name and start driving those people who see your replies to your landing page

Clickbanking is where you exchange links with someone else and send them X clicks...

Then, once you are done, you give them your link and they return the X clicks.

This can be done in email followups, or any spot in a funnel...

Although it's recommended both use the same location, as not all traffic spots in a funnel are 'created equal'

Combo of organic from search and social + advertising depending on where we are in the cycle and exactly what we want to test versus roll out at scale.

Try building a small list via social media: YouTube & Facebook.

You can then start to do ad swapping, and buying solo ads, while also getting fresh leads from Bing and Facebook ads.

YouTube and document sharing sites have been bringing tons of sales and visitors to my sites for over 8 years. It's a slow burner at first, but over time it has really kicked in.

PPC (as G AdWords that you use) is the best targetted traffic source BUT you nìmust study a lot how manage your campaigns spending not more than few cent/clicks!

you need to identify who your targeted customers are and where they hang out online. Once you identify that, start engaging with them and build relationships that will turn into customers. I know this isnt the fastest way to get traffic to your LP, but it is effective for a long term approach

I would go with PPC Adwords Display network. I would do topic/interest based targeting setting though. Make sure to exclude categories that are not relevant to your audience.

FB ads is great way to go. The clicks are actually cheap if you know what you are doing. Use audience insights within FB ads and HIGHLY target people that you think will want your stuff.

This will lead to high CTR (click thru rate) and generally low PPC.

Nothing is more targeted than FB.

I would definitely recommend using Bing as you can get a free $100 in credit for signing up for the first time but make sure as always do good keyword research to get your clicks as low as possible. Either they are much cheaper than Google Adwords but on the free side of things you can post in groups on social networks, create ads on Craigslist, use youtube to drive traffic back to your page, but many ways to drive traffic but just diversify as best you can.

While you could use paid advertising, I think it's best to make use of free traffic from the search engines (getting reviews ranked that people are looking for, social media - find the ones that the people in your niche use, social bookmarking sites, blog and forum commenting) when you are first starting out. Once you start seeing how things convert for you and start bringing in some cash, then you can move on to paid advertising.

I'm a big fan of FB ads. Just be sure to really narrow down your demographic and you can send traffic to your squeeze page on the cheap.

There are plenty of decent free traffic solutions which have already been mentioned above, many people build a list based on these free methods. You can increase your sign up rate from free traffic by offering a lead magnet (a gift) when people subscribe.

In considering paid traffic, the question you need to ask yourself is how much is that traffic worth to you - as this will help you make the decision about how expensive it is. Paid traffic will be highly qualified and targeted - and is only expensive if you have no method of monetising it when it arrives on your site.

Many businesses build lists for free by sending traffic to a mini sales funnel, where a percentage of visitors pay the bills by opting in and then buying something. Having an idea of the value of these opt ins and purchases will enable you to answer the question - how much can I afford to pay for traffic? You may find - with the right offers - that you can quite easily afford comparatively expensive clicks, and still build your list for free.

Do you have something to give away or sell?

You should use the Social media sites & SEO to increase your site traffic. If you can increase your site traffic, your subscribers will increase also. In this way you may get the cheapest expense.

Start off with paid advertising. If you have to pay $1 per click, then advertise elsewhere other than Adwords or Facebook. Consider Bing as mentioned above. Also consider advertising on non-rival sites in your niche. Don't forget about joint ventures. And don't forget about free marketing also. Find a forum in your niche that allows for signature promotion, and start participating.

I've heard a lot people say YouTube brings good traffic. Also google likes youtube on your page.
What do you usually put in YouTube? I mean do you make a video by yourself about your niche and put it inside YouTube?

Sites and niches have their own strategy set. It depends on what you're business plan is, where your content is coming from. i.e. self creation, other's. What type of site - it's purpose (the reason people will visit it).

These and many others are the factors one needs to know in order to determine how best to use videos and what type of video to use.

Too little information to answer you - may your site url or detailed description would help.
