If an offer says No traffic from craigslist or classified ads, etc. does that mean no direct linking from that source, meaning I can use that source to go to my website that has affiliate offer on it?

  • It means that you cannot have direct traffic from those sources. So you would have to send them to a squeeze page or landing page then convert them from that page

No, you shouldn't use the source at all. Having a bridge page does not make it okay unless that is explicitly stated.

Also, with Craigslist in particular, CL prohibits all such offers from being advertised and explicitly states that that includes if you send them to your own website first.

How many levels deep in tracking can managers see? Lets say i used CL ad that went to my own website and then they clicked affiliate offer on my website. Is Affiliate manager or merchant able to still see it came from CL?

First, you shouldn't be trying to see what you can get away with doing wrong without getting caught. That is the wrong attitude and approach. Abide by the terms of everyone involved if you want them to pay you.

Beyond that, there are various ways for them to find out where the traffic came from. Some are immediate and some will be delayed. But you are putting your account at risk either way. Of course some people get away with it but why run your business in such an underhanded way. It's their money and their terms to set. Earn yours honestly.
