Website Schema for better visibility in Google

What's up fellow warriors?

So, I have various websites that are performing for me using Adsense and SEO however I cannot get my websites to show an image in google search. I understand it is up to google whether to show various site data but almost every site has an image to represent. Now one of my sites is in the recipe niche, and I would love an image to show up to represent the post / recipe. I have set a featured image for each of my posts and pages but I'm not sure what else to do. I am using the Wordpress platform so perhaps someone knows of a plugin that can assist with this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Do you fill the image details in Media Library? Like Title, alternative text.

By the way, do you use any SEO plugins like Yoast?

One semi-sneaky trick is to use schema markup to give your pages a 4 or five stars "review" that appears in the Google SERPs.

Just do a google for something like "schema markup review" or something similar to get the tech details. If you know HTML it's pretty easy.
