How To Re-write Articles?

Recently, I spent around 4 hours rewriting one seed article, paragraph-by-paragraph, sentence-by-sentence, word-by-word.

I created 9 articles out of the seed, making a total of 10 articles generated within 4 hours, or around roughly 24 minutes per article.

All 9 has 30% or lower duplicate content when compared with the seed article, which is good. But here's the problem. Between all 9, only 2 had 30% or lower duplicate content. The other 7 had 60% or higher duplicate content.

I was totally frustrated, since I spent 4 hours or more on this. Any tips on how to rewrite articles? I'm using Power Article Rewritter by the way.

EDIT: I rewrite my own articles. I write the seed article, and spin it later.

  • Even when you try to rewrite a article start from scratch. Look at a article, read it, understand it, now go to a different room and rewrite the articlr from your memory.

  • Sure I am not the only one, but I just open the article in notepad then open another instance of notepad. Put them side by side and rewrite paragraph by paragraph into the second notepad. Also tried doing it in two open note pads. Works pretty good for me.

    • I had the same problem I found myself rewriting one article over days! Then using a spinner I only had around 17% uniqueness for each spun article!

    ExRat, what do you mean by follow your gut instinct and test it for yourself?

    I wrote the seed article myself, and it's not that I could not produce other unique articles compared to the seed, it's the spun articles that are having big-time duplicate content.

      I reckon they're kind of self-explanatory (bearing in mind what else I said). But I'm not trying to be clever/funny (I'm trying to be helpful) when I say - if you answer my questions, I'll answer yours.

  • In response to ExRat, here are my closest answers:

    a) what evidence do you have to suggest that the method you are using to measure uniqueness is accurate?

    DupeFreePro does all the article-checking for me.

    b) what evidence do you have to suggest that the amount of uniqueness you are using as a standard is accurate and relevant?

    Bryan told me that EZA accepts articles with 30% or lower duplicate content, and search engines accept articles with 70% or lower duplicate content.

    c) what evidence do you have to suggest that any of this is going to help you to achieve what you want to achieve?

    More articles naturally means more traffic, which then converts into profits.

      My man, it's looking like you have a very perverted outlook on article marketing and submissions. I can almost see by the way you're writing this that someone has misled you, either on purpose or due to their own maligned view.

  • I often read several articles about the same subject. I read them, then writing down keywords from what I remember, then I write the article using the keywords. Sometimes; I can write more than one article which is great. I think you'll be much faster in your re-writes once you get familiar with the process.

  • Just get your young family members to do it for you or outsource it. I find that the easiest even when I give them the articles to re summarize...

    • I can't bear the costs of outsourcing, since I live in Malaysia.

      And since the conversion is USD1:MYR3.6, the price is high, not to mention I'm not even an adult yet.

      I could try asking my younger brother for the rewrites though, but I think he wouldn't do it.

    if you use the new jets spinner enhancements (randomizer %) you can vastly increase the 'difference' anytime you like...

  • Many comments already, but I'd like to offer my 10 cents worth. When re-writing an article, you have take each sentence and re-write it 3 times. Don't spend too much time. I find that I can create a spinnable and understandable article set in under an hour. I've created up to 100 replicas and only had two that were less then 30% original.

    I do find that if I put in two layers of options with the three sentences, this helps greatly as well.

    For example:

    Original:
    I love to go lawn bowling simply because it's an easy and fun sport.
    Version two:
    Lawn bowling is a favorite sport of mine as I really enjoy it and it's dead easy to do.
    Version three:
    I always take advantage of opportunities to participate in a sport that I love; lawn bowling.

    Ok, I'll now take on of the sentences and look for alternative words:
    I [love to go|enjoy going|look forward to going} lawn bowling simply because {it's| it is} an {easy and fun|fun and easy} sport.

    Make sense?

      I am in the progress of attempting to spin another seed article I wrote days ago. I found out that by spinning paragraph-by-paragraph, I just add unnecessary work load to myself. Thus, I will try to spin only sentences and words(just like what you suggested).

      I hope to achieve success like yours, Frank! I mean, 98 unique articles from one seed article under 60 minutes is a godly achievement to me!
