Does anyone have experience with Fiverr traffic gigs?

My blog is only a month old, so the traffic is about 20-30 visitors per day. I decided to order some Fiverr gigs that direct traffic to my blog for a month. I paid about $20 and today there were about 500 visitors. Seems a bit too good to be true, since I generally have ads running with either FB, Twit, or Adwords.

So, is it just a bunch of phony bot BS, or do I just really suck at creating ads? (or both)

"suggestive" but I noticed never help much.

" suggestive I mean might be bot if they claim is not bot real visitors maybe they share your site together with others on PCC side etc "

I tried before ...summary don't benefit much.

In the end I stick to usual way , just add content , share on social medias ..

    the traditional way.

Fiverr traffic gigs are junk traffic. But it can not hurt your website, it will increase Alexa ranking.

Save your money, even when it's only a few dollars. All the traffic is junk and does nothing to your website but a small spike in your analytics account for the day.

Sadly enough, you are asking this after you have spent $20.
It is difficult to find good traffic Gigs on Fiverr.
Somebody who knows how to bring in high quality traffic would not like to sit long on Fiverr,
offering his services for merely $5.
I guess you spent money at the wrong place. The initial surge of traffic that you got was probably the result of mass pinging your blog (something that majority of Fiverr traffic sellers do to their client's websites).
The quality of that traffic is not good at all. Often they are either search engine bots or visitors (if any)
from countries you don't want. In a couple of days, even all that traffic will vanish!..

The fact is - robots don't buy anything!

Just traffic won't help you , could hurt you...fake likes, connections can hurt you on social media too

  • Wow, so the consensus is that I made a bad move. Oh well, lesson learned.

When you say that the traffic will "hurt" my blog, what does that mean exactly? Is there anything I can do to prevent or reverse any negative impact it might have?

Thanks for the help, all of you!

    Yes.

If the Fiverr seller's traffic was SOOO good.... why would he sell it for you for $5, instead of using it for his own website where he could possibly triple or quadruple (or more) his sales?

Keep this in mind, there is no such thing as bought or instant traffic unless you did something to earn it, like getting into ads. You will just waste your money and time, still you won't be able to get real traffic/engagement.

  • On the bright side, all the bot traffic will pay off once robots become self aware and hack our brains (into pieces).

In the meantime, I understand why the fake traffic is useless, but can someone please explain why it would hurt my blog? That was mentioned quite a few times, and I'd like to know if this is something that I can prevent or fix if it happens.

    Thanks again!

Why not just spend that $20 on a Virtual Assistant to DRIVE TRAFFIC?

VAs can help with the following:

    Forum marketing
    Social media comment marketing
    Blog commenting

And a whole host of other traffic generation methods.

Best of all, it doesn't cost that much. $20 should get you around 1/3 of a day.

$75 would get you GUARANTEED DELIVERABLES.

    Just something to consider.

Avoid fiverr traffic cause it is cheat! Try to add some FB groups close to your niche and post there. You will bring the same traffic, but it will be useful for you!

Just ask yourself if you were the traffic gig provider, will you send that traffic to an affiliate offer that will make you more than that t$5-$20 or you will be sending it to another person that will give you just $5 for it or$20 in your case. I hope looking at it this way will help answer your question

bottom line: never use fiverr as your only traffic source!
apart from people argue that fiverr traffic may be junk or from bots, but you should always seeking other traffic source outside from fiverr, in formal term, it is called integrated marketing or 360 degree marketing, my suggestion is start building your networks around your core blog, relation is as good as your content.

The only traffic gigs I'd buy from Fiverr are GUEST POST PLACEMENTS.

Of course, I ask for the blog url first.

I check Alexa.Com's site info first to make sure there's enough traffic flowing through the blog.

I also check the site's viral appeal on social media traction analysis tools.

There are quite a few gems out there.

You have to know what to look for though.
