What would convince you to buy graphic design services on fiverr from a new seller?

Hi!

I am a new seller on fiverr, offering graphic services and I was wondering, could any of you that have bought in the past services from fiverr or even if you have not, but maybe are planning too, tell me what would convince you to buy something on fiverr from a new seller without ratings but with past work samples included in the profile?
What exactly would make you say: "Yes, He/She convinced me, I will buy this!"

Thank you! Looking forward to your answers.

        Probably in the Main Forum.

I have shot a note to the mods recommending that they move it.

The upside is that you will have a lot more views.

            No problem.

Also, smart to have your gig in your sig.

            Good luck.

Fast, one day service. Most of the established sellers charge extra for one day service.

    High volume.

If people are offering 1 piece for $5, offer 2 pieces.

Also, offer a video that steps the viewer through your creative process.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, the QUALITY has to be there.

    Worthless graphics are, well, worthless.

      Hi,

      - Obviously, the quality of the portfolio...

      - Quickness and aptness of replies to presale and work-in-progress questions.

      - Prompt delivery of the job--2 to 3 days.

      - Provide a number of renditions per order before you charge an extra fee.

      - Makes sure all the important details about the job are requested--niche or theme, target demo, colors preferred, type/font preferred, dimensions, file extensions required, image(s) provided by the buyer or bought as an extra gig...

      - Knows how to follow instructions.

      - Throws in a bonus of an alternative logo/design/banner.

      Good luck.

Bonuses, yes, those are great for new sellers. Would you, as a buyer, be annoyed if the seller asks too many questions? Would you rather respond with Yes/No or provide a detailed explanation from the start?

I use Fiverr extensively for a lot of simple things, including graphics work. As such, I have a stable of "go to" people that I use for various services.

When I'm looking for new service providers, the absolute #1 thing that matters to me is pretty simple: Response time.

If I have to wait 3 days to hear from you, I'll never use you. If I hear back from you within a few hours, I'll at least hire you for a few test gigs, since I always hire multiple Fiverr folk to do the exact same job, and use the best of what I get back.

As others mentioned, having a good portfolio and offering 24 hour turn around will definitely help, also.

Thank you for your response. Of course you would ignore someone that responds in 3 days, I find even 2 days is longer than you need to wait - except the times that the person has a real good reason to not reply.

This 24H is really popular I see, I have this on my gig - lucky me!

I agree with Jassen. I use the same strategy. It's better to have a fast response time and put your gig on pause to focus on the current buyers then take a day or two to get back to someone. I know when this happens, I have generally moved on. I realize that it's only $5 and you cant stress out about it, but most times my orders are for more than $5 and if the seller is responsive and good, I use them many times during a 30 day period.

I looked over your offer and bought a gig. Why? While limited, I liked what I saw in your portfolio.

When I'm outsourcing graphics, money isn't so much the issue. It's quality. I do most of my own graphics, so, when I farm it out, it's because it's important and needs to be done right. Your portfolio showed the creativity I needed.

    Good luck,
