What can you advertise on Stumbleupon ads?

I credited my account $20 just for testing, and I setup a campaign linking to a video review site promoting a clickbank product, but it got declined.

So if you can't even promote a review page, what can you promote?

I've read over their terms, but it's not 100% clear to me.

    Stumbleupon has been getting more and more strict lately.

    I've noticed the best things to put on Stumbleupon is images that grab the users attention quickly.

    What I would suggest in your case is making an infographic that teaches your target audience more about the problems your product solves. I know this sounds counter intuitive but by having the infographic on your review site should get it approved & improve your chances of getting social shares.

    To really find success in Stumbleupon ads you have to get the users to share your content as much as possible. I don't advice going after performance based sales or lead generation right from the initial ad.

    Considering the nature of Stumbleupon's traffic and content model, I would only use SU for BRANDING purposes.

    Don't expect leads or sales.

    It can happen but...

    The chances of that happening are quite slim.

    Focus on BRAND AWARENESS instead.

      I don't have a brand, I only sell affiliate products. I thought I'd give stumbleupon a go to maybe have another stream of income setup for myself. Anyway, looks like i've blown $20 on nothing.
