Having very targeted traffic always comes with a price tag and that is usually through paid adverts. Facebook ads AdWords ads you name it. That is if you want traffic only from the US. However, there are some free-ways that will bring you some of the US traffic but not ONLY US traffic.

Keyword research for the words used by the US Traffic when searching for what your site offers.( that can be adjusted on the keyword planner tool )

Hang out on US forums that target your niche.( your case US relationship forums)

Create content that will attract mostly the traffic you are looking for.(again you can get that type of info from forums)

visit other relationship blogs based in the US and do some blog commenting.

Doing things like that steadily and consistently will heal you the type of traffic you are seeking for your site. Hope that helps

Since you're in the dating advice niche, you might want to start by targeting dating / relationships forums

Filter the forums based on traffic source through Alexa.com site info

Make sure you are helpful and share only solid advice

Resist the temptation to engage in drive by spamming by dropping 'dating advice' and leaving.

Follow up.

You might also want to ask a few qualifying questions before giving advice.

This takes time

But if you play your cards right, you might be able to build a loyal community base.

It all boils down to the value you offer.

There are some Social media page in any specific CITY. In these page you can join & make post there to increase traffic. This may an effective way for you. Thanks

One other way not mentioned here yet is to place classified ads on CL, Backpage, USfreeAds, Classifiedads dot com and other free classified ad sites online (google to find more).

You can also place classified ads off-line in USA newspapers for a small fee in small towns. Include your URL in the ad.... with a strong incentive to visit your site.

Well I personally wouldn't start with free marketing. I would go the easy and simple way and use paid advertising right away. You can easily start with Google Adwords or Bing Ads. These are the only 2 PPC companies I can recommend.

Also consider joint venturing with non-rivals in your niche. This is a free technique, and can pay off big if your offer is good, and your potential partner likes what you have to offer. And don't forget about forum marketing and blog marketing too.

I recommend you to concentrate on writing articles.
Write at least 30 articles to become more authority in Googles eyes and then move forward.

I would ask you, if you get on a blog with only 3 blogposts, would you ever read only 1 of them?
If you compare your website with menshealth.com or so, the first thing you see is, that your website has "nothing" to read or entertain or fill out.

So first i would recommend you to write more articles before you ever would drive traffic.

4. Launch a Kickstarter campaign
5. Write a counterpoint blog post

  Two people in this thread say they are in the US - but didn't notice the poor use of English or the 'content' clearly written by a non-English person? Most US traffic would not spend more than a few seconds on that site.

Hire an english speaking writter first to give your content a second read, because it`s a pretty low quality website. Then go for social media traffic if you don`t have enough money to get paid traffic

You are going to want to use different platforms where you can target your audience to that country you want to reach. Facebook and Bing do a good job of doing this. It does come at a good price but it is worth it.
