Is PayPal blocking sales if you don't keep a PayPal balance of at least $100? JVzoo

Just want to know if paypal is blocking sales if one's account is below $100. How true is this?
Especially for jvzoo vendors!

You're joking, right? If you can't give an answer that makes sense - please refrain. You'll wind up giving this place a bad name and you'll also discourage more posts of this nature.

What will we do for laughs, then??

          Sorry, it won't happen again

For a more serious answer to the OP. Maybe or Maybe not.

Not true at all in my case, and that's 15 years of selling with PayPal and the past couple years using the JVZoo/PayPal combo. Sales roll in no matter how much I withdraw or how high or low my account balance is.

If a PayPal account has a history of more than average refunds they can and do implement what PayPal calls a rolling reserve. That means 10 to 15 percent of your PayPal account will be held so you don't have access to it for 90 to 180 days.

It is called a rolling reserve because every sale that comes in is accessed this same reserve. As reserves mature and are released new reserves are continuously added.

I hope this has been helpful,

It's not been a problem for me. If you sell a lot of products or services of your own it's wise to keep an adequate balance for possible refunds, but no, I tend to withdraw my money on a certain schedule leaving less than $100 in my PayPal account and no problems receiving commissions through JVZoo or elsewhere.

I've never encountered this issue with PayPal. But yakim1 makes a good point about excessive refunds...so that may be a potential challenge, but if that's not the case for you, I wouldn't worry about it.
