A lot of people are using video marketing to promote their websites and increasing their sale, but today I want to tell those people who are submiting their videos manually at video sharing sites. Here is a solution to submit a video at multiple video sharing sites like youtube, metacafe, yahoo videos, break, dailymotion and others. Tubemogul and vidmetrix these are the sites which can deliver your videos to multiple sites.

  • Tubemogul is awesome and free. I am going to check out Vidmetrix. But if you look at the stats of popular videos on Tubemogul 95% of traffic is from you tube whilst 5% comes from the other 20 video sharing sites. So this make you wonder if it is worth submitting to all those sites or Youtube is enough.

PS : you have duplicate post. You better delete one of them !

    • If that's the case then there's really no need to submit to other sites unless of course if we're expecting this sites to "blossom" in the coming months..
    • You may not get as much traffic, but even if it is only 5% it is giving you a 5% increase in traffic without extra work. Plus you get quality backlinks as well.

  • If the programs are easy to work with and doesn't steal valuable time, why leave out those 5%?

    • Ignoring the 80/20 rule in time management is a huge reason why.
  • If you are concentrating on just traffic then maybe youtube is the one to aim for. But by submitting to these video sites (which have good-high page rank) you would receive some quality back links to your website.

  • Youtube does take up something like 45% of the video market, but if you're trying to get ranked on search engines, you may want to submit to all those sites. Just because YouTube gets the most traffic doesn't mean it will rank higher than the rest of the video sites for a particular keyword on search engines.

Your title is probably your MOST important part of your video...spend some time to get people to click and you'll rank higher.

Also, the traffic pattern on YouTube isn't like search engines...a lot of videos receive 50-80%+ traffic from the related videos section.
  • Actually YouTube sucks for SE rankings. Sure you will see some rankings in SE but overall I have stats that consistantly show accross all niches that YT falls behind by 50% in SE rankings.

  • You can also use Traffic Geyser to do this, and get trained on how to create well crafted videos that work. And they will do a lot more than just distribute your stuff...

  • I do a lot of video marketing and video blogging.. and I submit my videos to that 5% you spoke about, and those 5% are the ones who tend to get Tweeted and commented more than Youtube. I have no idea why.
But I figure if my assistant has extra time she can submit these videos to other places besides the "heavy hitters" the extra traffic never hurts.

    • Hmmm I Tried it Once and They Denined me.

I'll Try It again. Thanks for Bringing it Up.
