Automate Wordpress Posting

HI everyone,

I'm wondering if there is any software (happy to pay) that lets me easily create posts and attach images, which are then automatically uploaded to my WP site.

I know that it's possible to add posts in WP, I just find the interact and experience frustrating at times, and wonder if there's a way to do it from my desktop, possibly speeding up production.

Many thanks,

Alex

If you're looking for a WordPress plugin that can scrape and post content on your behalf, then WPRobot is definitely your fix.

There's a lot of people who will attack me and say autoblogging is a waste, but you can implement it effectively in your back end if you have an overall strategy.

(Some type of strategy involving natural organic content, supplemented by automated content could work).

Just my $.02, and I wish you the best.

Make sure that you have a fast Internet connection. If the images you are trying to attach are with really high resolutions (often such images are 10 mb+), then it will take time no matter what other shortcut you would apply. Uploading images occupying that many bytes is not recommended since, even if you would manage to upload/attach them, the blog posts would take too long to render on other computers.
Don't go for WP-Robot. It;s an auto blog plugin and will least likely solve your problem.

WPRobot and similar plugins are resource intensive and my give you TOS issues with your domain host.

Automated posting can be a good why to kill a site.

Google looks for unique content to rank. If you are just riposting content, you will lose SEO rank.

If you want to schedule out your posts you change chage the publish date to a future datetime and it will not appear live until then.

Just in case you are talking about something besides autoblogging, look for something that professes to take the place of Windows Live Writer.

I used to use that to create posts on my desktop and then upload them with the post time pre-scheduled.

Nowadays, I mostly use Scrivener to create the posts, then cut and paste to WP. I'm also posting once or twice a week down to once or twice a month, rather than several times a say, for what it's worth.

Everybody wants automation, but it's not always the best route to go. Blogging is easy, but it's probably best that you just upload an article the slow, 4-minute way. It's 4 minutes out of your life... how hard could it be - especially if all you have to do is upload it?
