What "Spam Score" do you try not to exceed with Aweber?

Hey Guys,

The new Aweber spam score does some freaky things these days. Like I'll go in and check a follow up message that I added a while ago, and it says the spam score is 7.5. Then I click back and refresh, and it says 3..

Anyway, I was wondering how other marketers judge the spam score and what if any level do you try to stay below? And if you've tested, have you seen it effect open rates?

    I keep it below 5 and usually try for less than 2
    I send text only
    stay away from the spam words
    keep the email short and focused on the prospect

    I get a very high click through and high response

    I know what you mean about showing high scores and having to press refresh.
    I just about always get my score down to zero. Why use spam words when you don't need to? I want everyone to get my eamils.

    Anything less than 5 is fine. Spending time trying to get to zero (0) is generally a waste.

    I try to aim for 2, 3 or 4, but as Tom pointed out above... 5 is fine so if it has to be...

    I go for anything less than 3. I get a little uncomfortable with a 5, but if I know what I'm sending out is especially useful then I'll go for it.
