How Do I Make A No Follow Link

First time poster here. Great forum!

In the Agoda (Hotel) affiliate program (below), I would simply put my seven digit CID into my link and use it for a Forum post or Blog post.

Now they are requesting that we use No Follow links.

They give two html examples on how to do that.

But I would prefer not to use html code in my (Invision) Forum or Blog posts.

How would I make the link below a no follow link without using html?

Thanks!

When setting up the links, you need to include you Site ID (CID) directly in the link.
The Site ID (CID) can be found in your profile page under the tab "add sites".

You can add it to your url following this structure:

http ://www.agoda.com?cid=xxxxxxx
Important: It is a search engine requirement that you make your links "no follow" for all your affiliate links. Please add a rel='nofollow' tag to all of them.

Technically, the rel=nofollow tag IS html, so making such a link without using html is impossible.

That said, there are ways to automate the insertion, meaning you would not have to add the tag manually every time you used it.

Unless you have some familiarity, or are willing to learn to hack your own templates and functions, your best bet is to hire someone to customize your template or functions to make the tag part of the insertion process.

You might also find a short code plugin that will let you set up the link to be inserted with the nofollow tag any time you use the short code.

    Hope this helps.

There are many sites who follow the "No-follow" link. You can use the SEO tool bar to check about it. The tool bar will show you the site follow the "No-follow" link or the "Do-follow" link. No-follow link will increase your site manual traffic only. while the Do-follow link will increase your site traffic & Page rank at a time.

You can add nofollow tag like this <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.SponsorSite.com">Your Text</a>
