RAP Bank has closed its doors...

RAP Bank Affiliates -

As the owners of RAP Bank, we regret saying it is now 'Closed'. We'll continue to honor and allow your RAP Bank-based affiliate links (eg. /go/xxx/id) to work until September 5, 2015.

We've enjoyed the 5.5 year run, but it's time to say 'Goodbye' to RAP Bank.

    I just got the email as well and was heading over here to talk about it. I'm a little sad too. RapBank is the place I listed my very first product in I believe late 2010. I started out promoting their products as well because at the time they were the best place to go if you wanted to promote instant commission products. JVZoo and WarriorPlus weren't around yet.

    I did notice quite a decline in product listings and traffic the last 2-3 years. Bill & Erin are awesome people, and from the letter on the RapBank home page it seems like it was just too much of a drain on them. They say they have gone on to do other things, and I'm sure they will do great.

    I know that things change as time goes on, but it's still tough sometimes. Especially when something that is near and dear to us goes away.

    RIP RapBank. I'll miss ya.

    Wow, this really sucks. RapBank was a great place for newbies to learn the fundamentals of IM and affiliate promotion.

    Anyone know why this has happened?

      Here's the letter that is posted on the RapBank home page now. It explains some of their reasons for shutting it down.

      Dear RAP Bank, It's been a blast being with you in both the best of times and the worst of times. We recall endless nights, fixing the inner-core of your being. Additionally, we enjoyed getting to know 1,000s and helping 10,000s of affiliates earn money with you. We can honestly say you've been our pride and lasting joy online for many years now.

      But, times have changed...

      You've become a bit too needy and a bit whiny. At times, your databases have shutdown and needed rebuilding at wee hours in the morning. Other times, you've left us feeling defeated and beaten.

      We unfortunately have to make this the end of our relationship. And, this is 'Goodbye'. We do still love you, and we wish the best for you but we've found other loves.
